Staff are very Rude with DoorDash Drivers. She saw me waiting at the counter when she was going back and forth two times and never asked me how can I help.
I wish manager can give them more training of how to receive people and talk to them.
Besides: the kitchen people have no orders literally and they didn’t start on the DoorDash order until I arrived and asked them.
They were playing on phones and chatting .. until they see me asking about the DoorDash order.

Ugh. Not again. Ordered my food and they got it wrong. Again.
I was so over the apparent manager who was standing where I wait for my food. Kitchen places the bag, she opens the bag and looks in it. When I received my order, I asked for butter. She asked me how many. I said I have 4 bagels and bread that I would like butter for. She demanded a number. Butter used to be out for customers to take what they needed. So much more pleasant than having to come up with a number. But, when I asked for ice and she demanded to know for what, I said to drink. So, with that heavy sigh and the eye roll, she tells the girl to get me a cup of ice. I received a small coffee size cup with about 10 ice cube in it. I turned in my heel and walked away, so annoyed I walked over to the register to tell them they could keep their food. I’m spending almost forty dollars on your salad and 4 bagels and you want to begrudge me butter? If your ice machine is not working, put out a bucket of ice. Don’t treat a seventy year old woman like a five year old. And, while you are checking each order that is coming out, how about really checking it. I am over picking up an order from Panera only to arrive at the place I am going to eat to find out it is wrong again!! Think about the outrageous price you are paying for a bowl of lettuce with some toppings thrown on it. This salad had so many pieces of the core of the lettuce, it was primarily the lettuce portion of my salad. You know the core? That part you and I throw away when preparing lettuce for a salad.
This Panera, the manager, or at least, she is managing in some faction is rude and has absolutely no customer skills. That will kill a business quicker than a flood or fire.
Again, jacked up the prices and Made the portions smaller. We see this, restaurants. Your customers are far more intelligent than you give them credit for.

I’ve been to this Panera a few times, and the last two visits have not been great. The portions have gotten smaller and the prices have stayed the same or have increased (and a part of me gets that we’re in a recession but it still sucks). The last visit that prompted my review was when I ordered the chicken roma with the asiago bagel through the drive-through. I sat down to eat when I got to my office and found that there was NO chicken in my sandwich, which was absolutely unfortunate because the rest of the sandwich tasted fine. Just disappointing 🙁

Only reason I am going them a 2 star and not a 1 star is because they refunded part of my mothers money back. First let’s start with my mother placed an order using the app for a pick up for 4:10. She got an email saying order was ready for 4:11 we walked in as the email was reached out. We didn’t see our order anywhere so we spoke with the guy behind the counter and he said we did a drive-through and we sure didn’t. It took about another 10 mins do get our order; when they handed the order to us to proceeded to try to walk away without giving us our drinks on top of that my specialized grilled cheese was not even done correctly. Pictures will show what I got vs what was ordered. They offered for them to remake it but at this rate I am too hungry to wait. I have to say also if it was just our order that was messed up I wouldn’t have been so keen to write this review but we heard multiple people asking for a refund and also them looking to talk to someone about something in their order that they couldn’t do. I will make sure to not order from this particular location again.

The staff at the Southington, CT Panera were fabulous. They helped me correct an error on a big order that was totally my fault, and they all did that cheerfully. Food as usual was very good. Panera is our go-to when we’re traveling, and this location was stellar.

This Panera right off Rt 84 at Queen Street has the same decent food as all Panera outlets. However, the service was non existent with self service kiosks and no one close by to help. Only the very convenient location will spur a return trip

Don’t bother tipping. If you’re wondering if it will affect the quality or quantity of your food, it won’t. No amount can fix bad, snappy, unapologetically unpleasant, ill-mannered, and crass attitude. The staff needs to turn their attitude down several notches and turn up the hospitality. The service would greatly improve if the staff were friendlier and more attentive. Starting with not forgetting food items. The staff’s attitude was off-putting, a dose of courtesy and professionalism is badly needed. Less ‘we’re doing you a favor’ energy, more ‘we’re glad you’re here’ would make for a much better experience. Please, eat here if you like wasting money and helping to employ ungrateful people. Meanwhile, plenty of other, good-intentioned, friendly, pleasant, polite, considerate, warm and welcoming people are desperately looking for a job who can turn this location 180* to its full potential and make it shine.

I don’t typically write reviews but I was pretty disappointed with the service at Panera in Southington. I used the self serve tablet to order which was fine. Sat and waited for my order with my friend. All I ordered was French onion soup and paid extra for a different side (fruit cup). For one, the employees looked super stressed and one even voiced to another worker that she was. One young man was working with the food and had long hair and not tied up etc. they informed me they were out of fruit cups and said they have “everything else”. I told them I paid extra for fruit cup instead of the free side of bread apple or chips. They then had somebody go in the back and make a fruit cup quickly. I didn’t want to complain because I saw they were busy but then again, that’s not excuse. I went back up asking them if the soup came with croutons and they said yes I’m sorry, and handed me a pack of 5 croutons that they pre made. Soup didn’t look appealing like the picture on the menu which had shown a good portion of cheese and croutons and soup itself. It wasn’t hot either. The fruit cup was missing grapes which was the least of my worries. To top it off, it was freezing in there! I was just looking forward to a nice small meal out. I hope they can do better!

The Panera Bread located at 365 Queen Street is absolutely atrocious!! There is no Customer Service, just Disservice!! I ordered two Strawberry Poppy Seed Chicken Salads recently at a price close to $30, only to discover they omitted the Chicken! How can employees NOT make a salad correctly? A third grader could do it, and probably better at that!! This is not the first time I’ve had issues here, it’s more like the tenth! Items omitted after I leave or I was told they had no blueberries, no strawberries, even no dressing!! They also forget to give me the Baguette Bread. If you decide to get take out, I highly recommend you inspect the salad(s) (or other items) before you leave!!

Ordered you choose 2, broccoli and cheddar soup and chicken ceaser salad, lettuce was slimy and black, soup was barley hot. The order took a while to get to me. About 6 minutes, and the bathrooms. Gross. Bottle of soap with no pump so you have to pick it up, not paper towels, but have plenty of paper goods for to go orders. The lady at the register didn’t seem to understand what I wanted. And changed me 3.09 for a bread that comes with your meal. Silver ware dirty
