I go to the Groton Panera when I am visiting the Groton area. On many occasions I have ordered multiple cups for the same pickup time. There was 1 cup on the counter even though all were marked completed. It’s not hard to put a cup out if a slip prints.
The iced coffee is just as bad as the Waterford Panera. The iced tea is darker than the iced coffee. The product is very weak and lacking flavor. I thought Panera’s claim to fame was supposed to be consistency. The Panera we go to in MA almost always has great iced coffee but I have yet to get a good cup at the Groton or Waterford stores. Looking at the staff, I suspect they are managed by the same people.
It’s really not difficult to make good iced coffee.
Why does Groton have a fireplace if they don’t turn it on? They should probably have it serviced, since the soot on the doors would make it difficult to enjoy the ambience.
The manager is always friendly at the store.

I am a frequent customer at panera. But this location specifically has continuously had an issue with disorganization and taking forever with rapid pick up orders. I placed my order at 1:10pm and it is 1:35 currently and it is still not ready. The staff is usually very friendly so i’m unsure at this point if its an issue with management. This isn’t a good location to stop at if you are in a hurry. I wouldn’t leave this review if it weren’t for the fact that this has now happened multiple times.

I recently visited Panera Bread and was very disappointed with my meal. I ordered a baked potato soup and a sandwich, but both were far from enjoyable. The sandwich was falling apart, with burnt meat that ruined the flavor. The soup was overly salty and almost inedible. On top of that, the dining area was not well-maintained—tables were dirty, which made the experience even worse. Overall, it felt far below the quality I expected from Panera Bread.

Worst meal !!! My wife ordered a chicken wrap with lettuce and tomatoes. She got 5/6 very small chicken crumbs, the tomatoes were the pieces you throw away (tuff seed ends) and some of the lettuce was already gone past it’s life. I ordered an Italian that had so much salad dressing the meat had to swim just to stay up with the bread. You guessed it it l took a bite and it literally pushed down my face. We will never eat there again.

Came in to a bunch of people waiting to order but no one at the register. Everyone sees us waiting but finally a woman from the back came up to the register. Started ordering. Ordered Chicken goddess salad minus onions and egg due to allergies. Im told they don’t have any avocado. I get my bag and get to the car and open the salad and…no tomatoes and an onion piece on my salad. I now have to go back in to get everything fixed. Wait in line again but this time their was someone at the register. The lady was pleasant and fixed my meal. This location usually is accommodating and makes mistakes but will atleast fix it.

The table I had to wipe down myself… it had food EVERYWHERE. Every single table looked this way. Unreal.. I don’t mind wiping the table down.. I really don’t but every table is gross… The trash is overflowing onto the floor. The floor looks like it hasn’t even been swept or vaccumed in days. Every single worker in the back looked drugged up. Foods good.. place sucks.

We always order food the night before. Large family, lots of items. Some days they forget to include items in the order. Today they said they were out of souffles, and when I arrived at the store, two were on the counter. A different type than I ordered, but I accepted them as a replacement. We took them home to eat, and they were all liquid on the inside. Severely undercooked. Overall, you’ll probably get a good experience, but always check that you received what you ordered, and the food is to the quality you expect.
