Super pleased with this place! The food is always awesome and the workers are so polite!
I just ordered the chipotle chicken avocado melt with mac and cheese on the side. The food was amazing as always and the guy who took our order was so kind and professional. 10/10 would recommend.

Italian with extra ham came with no meat at all. Called for a refund and was told I had to go back and get a receipt. I live 20 minutes away. Thanks!
Who orders a meat sandwich with the higher cost and asks “hold the meat”?!
WHO??? Jack Nicholson “What, no toast? Then get me a toasted chicken salad and hold the chicken salad” that’s who? I can’t believe it actually happened, but I ordered extra meat!

10/24/25 8:00 PM Restaurant was very filthy. Dined in and had to sit at a dirty booth because there were no tables cleaned at all. Employee who was ‘cleaning’ was walking around the dining lobby on his phone. Although the food was pretty good, seeing other Google reviews along with the atmosphere associated with my visit tonight, I will not be eating here again. 2/10.

To the manager of Panera Auburn, ME branch, please review your camera between 2:30 and 2:50 pm on 3/18/25, I know you offered to replace my sandwiches and offered coupons for inconvenience but I won’t be back there. Tampering with my food if where I draw the line. If someone can leave a hair this long in the middle of my sandwich, they are capable of doing other things

Brought two whole sandwiches today, was given half of one and a long hair in the other

Didn’t wait long for food, and it was delicious . Little bit pricey, worth it for the upgrade on fast food. Plenty of menu items to choose from. Staff were super courteous and polite.

It definitely wasn’t the best time of my life. The service seemed pretty slow even though there was hardly anyone in the place, but there wasn’t a lot of workers either. The Mac and cheese was watery and a little underwhelming for $10(!?!) But my friend and I were about to eat pavement we were so hungry. The baggeette (Idk how to spell, the long bread) is yummy if you dip it in the cheese. So yeah, I recommend the Mac and cheese if you like fondue.

Drive thru breakfast order was incorrect, I went in with my food and receipt. The manager took care of my order. She and the gentleman at the register were professional and polite. Mistakes happen and I received no pushback from them.

I work across the street in the Auburn Mall, and I occasionally come to this location for my lunch break. However, almost every single time I have ordered from this location, I have not received what I ordered or have had another issue. While I understand that the food industry is fast paced and folks can be forgetful, their poor service is not an exception, it is the rule. Over the last month alone I have had these issues:

1. Hair in my macaroni. I opened the lid and stirred. It was not mine. (Pictured below.)
2. Today, I ordered a Tuna Salad Sandwich and received a potato salad sandwich (?). (Pictured below.)
3. My order was stolen off of the pickup shelf. I understand this is not something staff can fully control, however, I feel as if there should be some verification system in place for Rapid Pick-Up. A staff member quickly remade my order, but I ended up only having about 15 minutes to get back to my workplace, and eat.
4. Multiple occasions where my side was incorrect or not included at all.
5. Multiple occasions where my food was made incredibly sloppily, and couldn’t pick it up to eat it because it was falling all over the place.

While most would simply turn around and head back inside to inform staff about these errors, I can’t. I’m on my lunch, which is usually limited to 15 minutes to half an hour. I simply don’t have the time. However, I feel that the Rapid Pick-Up customers shouldn’t have to turn around and ask for corrections– it is called Rapid Pick-Up for a reason.

I don’t take any pleasure in writing this review, as all the staff I have interacted with at this location have been friendly, kind and understanding. They are doing their best to deliver me my lunch, and make my experiences there pleasant, but they continually let me down when it comes to my actual meal.

I am simply writing this in the hopes that someone at this location will see it, and improvements will be made.

It’s September and it’s been literally weeks since Panera in Auburn has had ANY soup in stock, like nothing – no chicken noodle, no french onion, no tomato soup or any of the seasonal soups, I can understand being out of stock for a couple days due to a logistical snafu, but seriously it’s multiple weeks with an entire section of the menu just out of stock and heading into THE season soup is most popular.

Management is not managing this location effectively, this is beyond disappointing, I guess that private equity buyout is finally showing it’s ugly side
