11/2024 Panera bread : I wanted to give it a “1 star!!” Because the coffee was the worst I have ever had. It tasted bad and the cup was filled with coffee grounds . Non of it was a good experience for me !
I am gluten-free celiac and a vegetarian. They used to have a nice GF bean soup that I could have and my other friend who is also a strict vegetarian had. I find it hard to have anything there since they got rid of that soup. It’s a huge project just getting a salad without meat, fish or chicken or bread in it, it’s not a nice dining experience. but it is crowded there so there is a need for a casual place to eat . You can’t even read the menus with your glasses on they’re so far away and so small!
My friends had their food on nice plates, but for the first time mine was not on a plate but old looking as if made days before and in a small Plastic to go container! I was very embarrassed because I had not seen my friends for a while and just wanted to have a nice lunch with them, and I felt demeaned because I was gluten-free vegetarian with a tacky plastic container certainly not worth almost $10. Dollars

Nice fresh seasonal salad item–nice healthy eating. The side baguette was not as good as used to be; was more hard, didn’t seem to have risen enough to have the crunchy light exterior & chewy, yet soft middle. Atmosphere was relaxing, plenty of room on Monday eve.

Food is always good & comes out fast, dining rm is always clean & staff is friendly, informative & knowledgeable, Maria inparticular is wonderful & remembers you. Also very happy the chicken Roma bagel sandwich is back it’s so good & I hope it will be a permanent menu item.

Order the cheddar broccoli mac and cheese and a tuna salad sandwich when I went to get my order they had given me regular mac and cheese I asked the gentleman if this cheddar Mac n cheese he said yes I tried it and brought to the front counter and the pretty lady that smells really nice at the counter with the ponytail hanging out her hat said this is not what you ordered and she didn’t hesitate and got me a new bowl and let me keep the old one as well.
Love this place very nice but the guy serving the food said my order was right but when I asked he never even looked down at me or my food. So may teach him a little bit about eye contact and not assuming he’s always right.
Not a big deal but could loose business because of stuff like this. Oh my sandwich had 10 onions on 1 half amd 12 on the other half.

I just adore Panera.
Every time I visit, the food is always wonderfully satisfying, the coffee is fresh and hot, and Maria at the register is an absolute ray of sunshine.
If I had a choice to visit any of the three Panera‘s that are Within reasonable distance, Hanover would win every time because I have always had a glowing experience there, and I’m treated so well.

Don’t go here. I ordered a grilled cheese, they said they were out of the usual bread so I asked for it on a baguette and this is what I got. It was literally just covered in what seemed to be several slices of only American cheese. My friend ordered a bread bowl and broccoli cheddar soup and they told her they were also out of bread bowls and that soup. How tf is Panera bread out of 2 different kind of breads and what is this sham of a substitute for something that looks nothing like what they advertise as a grilled cheese?
