Really cool spot. I pulled in from the airport by way of SLC, UT. These guys are super cool and friendly. Holy crap this food is good! Dang!!!
Update: Two weeks later…My wife and I went to dinner tonight with friends and I told them about this amazing Venezuelan food truck that has the best empanadas I’ve ever had in my life. Thank you making such delicious food and being so kind to a business traveler.

I’ll have to say, there is mexican food then there’s Venezuelan food. This food truck is a Memphis gem and a really great one at that! If you haven’t tried Venezuelan food and looking for a great place then I’ll definitely recommend this place. The parking lot is a little small where they are located but I don’t mind it because the food is definitely amazing and worth the drive from where I live. They aren’t crowded so the service is pretty fast.

It was a wonderful first time visit. We ordered the mixed empanada and the beef arepa. We just stumbled this place upon google researching & I’m glad we did. The food was delicious.

Excellent place, I love the typical and variety of delicacies such as cachitos, ham bread, tequeños, pastelitos, pastichos, tequeyoyos, guava tequeños, chocolate. Now also potato cakes, and free deliveries within the area. Do not hesitate to try them.

$10 for one arepa (no drinks or anything) that I had to wait 20 mins for. Not worth it for me. But also a larger group that came after me got their food and even some food for the road 15, 10 mins and 5 mins before I got my 1 arepa.
Meanwhile I’m trying to keep my 2 year old from running under the fence into the busy road or into the parking lot. Another con, parking lot is tiny, and people are double parking. I am just visiting from out of town and was happy to be reunited with authentic Venezuelan food but it’s not worth the trouble to come back.
When I asked how much longer she said 5 mins. I said no. To her credit, she had it out in 2 mins. (Hence the 3 stars instead of 1)
The garlic cilantro mayo was 10/10.

The food is incredible and the staff and very kind! The portion sizes are also larger than other places which is preferable for a hungry diner. The cheese and plantain empanada was crispy, hot and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Molten cheese and everything! I was also able try an arepa with yellow cheese and chicken which was seasoned well, packed with chicken and had the perfect texture. The arepa becomes a masterpiece when drenched in their homemade red sauce which has a hint of spice.
