The food is always delicious, fresh and comes with very satisfying portions. The food is never disappoint me. Their prices are very reasonable also.
All the servers and people who work there are very friendly and helpful. The service is very fast and all of the servers are very attentive. I really like to see smiley faces when I dine in there also.
The atmosphere is just amazing and they always play really good music in there. Highly recommend!
I called and asked to speak to the manager and told him and he was so rude. I couldn’t believe it! He was questioning me , like how did I know I was overcharged. He didn’t let me finish my story and said just bring it back. No apology. I get to the diner. I showed him all the mistakes and being overcharged $14 and he said what do I want .I told him I want a full refund. I wasn’t taking the food now bc how rude they were. He asked me if I wanted the tip back and I said yes. He handed me the cash back. I get to the car only to realize he didn’t give me the $10 tip back. Regardless, if we eat in or takeout, we always give a 20% tip.I went in and told him and he acted appalled and said so now she doesn’t get a tip. I said why the hell would she get a tip?He was disgustingly rude! Just said sorry under his breath when he handed me back the money. So I spent 40 minutes driving total back-and-forth to be treated like crap! We will never walk in those doors again! Check your receipts!
I love it here but I never go because the price isn’t worth the lack of depth in the sauces.
If you go, ask for Angel, her name is accurate I love her.
1st time: service was great. Waitress super friendly and attentive. Food was good. I got jalapeño poppers, then upgraded to the French onion soup(delicious) and then had the Moscow chicken melt. Sandwich was ok, not use to a melt being an open sandwich and the bread not slightly crispy.
2nd time: same Waitress as first time, so great service. Fried ravioli was good. Then had the paparazzi cheese steak. Not a bad sandwich. Like the combination of toppings in it.
3rd time: just went tonight. New waiter. The guy was generally nice, but little off beat. Asked if I wanted to know the soups of the day, but didn’t really know how to describe them. Otherwise he was good. Got some of the same items as before and they were still good. This time I got the 3 mushroom amd Swiss cheese steak. Ok sandwich, think it be better if the cheese was broken up with the meat more vs just being on the bottom of the meat.
4th time: This time I took my mother out to eat. ( she’s been here a few times with other family members) she went with one of her goto meals here, the Stuffed mushroom platter. She got three large stuffed mushrooms which comes originally with green beans and roasted potatoes I believe.( she alternated the potatoes for coleslaw)
I got the Seafood cheese tortellini fra daiblo (comes in medium or hot) I ordered hot, but to me it wasn’t really hot. Got some red crushed peppers and parmasa cheese to add to it. The dish was pretty good overall.
UPDATE:2-18-24
Went back a couple weeks ago for dinner and got the Apple Gorgonzola Porkchops. Apple glaze mix was delish, porkchops were good( little crispy on edges). The potatoes was good. Green beans ok, no flavor. Kinda bland. Also got the soup of the day-seafood bisque. That was very good. Forgot to mention the mozzarella sticks for the appetizer. Best part was, food came out in a good time frame. Not to fast or slow. Didn’t overlap food, so nothing had to sit and get cold. Waiter was friendly and attentive.
Update: 3-14-25
Food and service is pretty much the same as in the past. Food is generally good and staff attentive for the most part. Menus look a bit updated since my last visit.
So in end: So far an ok place. Heard mixed reviews from others that I’ve know that have been there. So far I’ve had good experiences. Still alot more to try to get a feel on the food there. Definitely worth a try tho.
Excited to see our movie and get something to eat. The waitress we had was a complete disgrace. She came to the table and says “what do you want to drink” no “hi my name
Is so and so” or “how are you guys doing today” just cut and dry what do you want to drink. Like we were inconveniencing her for doing her job. Immediately this put a bad taste in my mouth and could see where the rest of the experience was going. At this point we didn’t have time to leave and go anywhere else before our movie so we just stayed. We watched the other waitress there interacting and smiling with their tables and wanted to ask to switch but she seemed busy enough. I’m not sure what this girls problem is but she shouldn’t be working in customer service type jobs if she can’t deliver proper customer service. I understand it’s the holidays but that doesn’t give anyone the right to treat people poorly. If you go to this location don’t get the girl with the fake fan and dark hair and nose ring she’s moody and incompetent on how to treat people. Also avoid the “‘manager” (I think her name was Christina) who justifies her behavior. There’s a darker skinned girl with blonde hair ask for her if you go. She was so sweet and kind. OR avoid this place all together and just go to Geets right down the road the atmosphere, food and
Service are all above and beyond
