I really wanted to like this place.. but it’s just bad.
I got the kung pao chicken and it was literally tasteless. It had a lot of sauce but that sauce didn’t have any flavor.

The rice was dry and stale tasting.
The prices are crazy for what you can get in other places close by for similar prices.

If you’re wanting Asian food in Oneonta I suggest either going to the Chinese buffet or the Japanese restaurant across from Walmart.

This place is a miss.

This is my favorite take out spot but I am so disappointed after my last couple of trips. Tonight was my last one. $60 and it is absolutely disappointing. Chicken nuggets from McDonald’s with sweet and sour would have been 1000x better.

Egg rolls were over cooked and hard as a rock. Left out the red sauce for the sweet and sour chicken but it wouldn’t have mattered because they were not good. Almost as if the oil is burnt. Same taste was in the sesame chicken.

I typically don’t leave reviews but this experience deserved it.

I love this restaurant for Chinese, everyone that works there are friendly. They cook your orderwhen you put in the order so it’s hot when you get it.

Hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour the lack of flavor was insulting the fried rice was bland the Mongolian beef was decent that is the only reason food got 2 stars

*MSG* I was told by an employee that they add ‘a little bit’ of MSG to their food. I have a terrible sensitivity to added msg, it causes me to be severely sick for 2-5 days depending on how much I’ve had, as a result I’ve had to stop eating at several different fast food places and have to ask about it at every new place I go to.

I didn’t know about the msg when I ate here, I had the pepper steak and it was flavorless (which is ironic since msg is supposed to add flavor) and oily. The only good thing was the egg roll.

Another person with me had the beef & broccoli, and they had the same complaint, no flavor & oily. This area needs some good Chinese food but the Panda ain’t it.

Disappointed with the changed version of chicken lo mein. The cabbage and carrots and onions that was part of the recipe has slowly dissapeared. Plenty of oversauced noodles, some chicken but where did the veggies go? Won’t be back

Food was good and good portions but the service was terrible. The lady was on the phone talking loudly the whole time. She never asked for my order so I tried to tell her what I wanted in between her talking. She stayed on the phone the entire time, talking loudly. It may be a cultural difference, but good service etiquette would be to put your personal phone call on hold while you attend to a paying customer. And maybe act like you appreciate their business with a polite expression.
