Delicious lunch specials and authentic Chinese food. We got 2X General Tso’s, one medium and one mild. They were both excellent and spice levels fantastic. Off the authentic menu, the S18 cold cucumber salad and S20 spiced beef took me back to the streets of Nanjing. Full flavor and heat. Solid 5 stars with something for everyone. Fast service during off-peak time. Ordered on Toast Local for pickup. Very nice people

It was good til I realized what this vm said. Backstory: I ordered from here online Sunday for the first time since they changed their name. I ordered a wings w fry platter and another wing and beef fried rice platter. I accidentally requested fried egg to be put in the fried rice on both orders. Once the order was submitted, they called to rectify, but then I get this voicemail?? If you can’t do it, you can’t do it I understand, but DON’T TALK ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS WHILE YOU’RE STILL ON THE PHONE!! Felt sick & couldn’t finish my food. I’ve lived around here for almost 30 years and never had a problem when it was China King. Won’t be back.

I came here specifically to warn real authentic Chinese food fans about the vile, disgusting, inedible “soup dumplings” they serve here. They are NOT real, homemade soup dumplings; they are the miniature frozen soup dumplings you can buy at Trader Joes and other grocery stores. They were so bad. Firstly, every single one was broken and there was no soup inside any of them because it had all run out. Secondly, the pork inside tasted really funky and gross. I also ordered the dry fried green beans. They were so bland that I had to add a lot of soy sauce and chili oil to add any flavor to them at all. The restaurant was freezing cold, as if they barely had the heat on. I had to wear my heavy winter coat inside while I was eating. The service was horrible. It took like 45 minuts for the food to come out. Then after I was done eating, they waitress was in the back kitchen for a half an hour as I sat there waiting for my check. No one else was around. I finally had to get up and poke my head into the kitchen to tell them I was totally out of time and had to leave. I deeply regret the $30 Iost to such a horrible dinner and experience. I have not tried their Americanized Chinese food, so I can’t speak to that, but if you are looking for actual authentic Chinese food and have eaten at the real places like Dim Dum Garden, Tom’s, or Dim Sum Mania, you’re going to be bitterly disappointed with the “authentic” food here.

After reading some of the negative reviews here, I was a bit concerned about giving this place a try. I had the lunch special Kung Po Shrimp and it was excellent, with a very generous serving size. For $10, with fried rice and a small serving of won ton soup …it was a great value. The owner/server is very friendly and customer service focused. I had been a long time customer of the old Mee Garden restaurant, which was closed over apparent health code violations. This is a worthy replacement, and will be my go to neighborhood chinese take-out spot.

Amazing place for authentic Chinese cuisine and Chinese food. The owner puts great effort into cooking great quality food. You won’t be disappointed. Great location, clean, and comfortable atmosphere. Menu is not intimidating and you can always ask for recommendations they will be happy to help. Will be coming back for more.

I figured I would give this spot another try since they changed the name. Got sweet and sour chicken, shrimp roll and paid extra for fried rice. Got nasty old white rice. Definitely was made a while ago and held in steamer. Sweet and sour only had chicken in ever other piece. Shrimp roll had zero shrimp.
$20 … I feel ripped off.
