Service was nice we placed an order for pickup didn’t have any issues quick and smooth.
We order Orange chicken, sweet and sour chicken, vegetable eggroll, and their Chinese donuts.
Tonight wasn’t the mom and dad night they probably took the night off, so looks like either the daughter and son ran it or their daughter and son-in-law or vice versa ran it last night.
Now onto the food:
Orange chicken was pretty good.
Vegetable eggroll was ok.
Chinese donuts are really good I recommend you try it out.
Sweet and sour was also good, but the only compliment I have was the size of the batter chickens it was super small. These got to be the smallest Sweet and sour chicken I’ve ever order from a restaurant, and on top of that some of these is just all batter there’s no chicken. So with that I will have to give this place a 3 out of 5.

I had an amazing experience at Panda Gourmet! The hot and sour soup was absolutely delicious — great balance of flavor and just the right amount of heat. I also ordered the chicken lo mein, which was cooked perfectly and full of fresh ingredients. The service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty food and friendly service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I randomly stopped into Panda Gourmet on Cedar St. tonight for the first time, planning to quickly grab a kid-friendly dinner for one of my son’s friends. Instead, I ended up having one of the sweetest, most genuine interactions with the owner.
Fan and his wife, Ella, recently took over ownership of Panda Gourmet. Fan’s family also owns Chen’s, a longtime North Lansing favorite, and he hopes to bring some of that success to the south side, while adding his own twist.
As we chatted, Fan shared how much he loved Japan and spoke enthusiastically about the country’s orderliness, innovation, and all the interesting things to explore and buy. Taking inspiration from his travels, he’s currently testing boba tea at the restaurant and hopes to introduce more new ideas over the coming months.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what Fan and Ella do with Panda Gourmet and can’t wait to come back again soon.
Oh, and the honey chicken and boba tea were inhaled by the boys before I even had a chance to try them. They did confirm the food was fantastic!

We came in about 2:00 to get a late lunch and were the only ones there. The waitress overhead is discussing my daughter’s food sensitivities. She came over and told us the chef could adjust and use corn starch instead of wheat flour to bread a dish. The chef came out and confirmed. For the first time in many years, my daughter got to eat fried Chinese food. She had coconut shrimp and a spring roll, and she was absolutely elected. The staff was beyond kind and caring. I don’t live in MI anymore, but will be making Panda Gourmet a stop each time I come back to visit. The food was great, but the service really set the place apart! To quote my nine year old, “they get 1,000 stars!”

Pros: The orange chicken was tasty and served hot. Portion size was decent.
Cons: Its hard to have a comfortable dining experience when the heat is only set to 67F inside. It felt like I had to eat with my coat and gloves still on.

Singapore Chow Mei Fun had really good flavor but the noodles were slightly over cooked.
Eggrolls were cooked to perfection.

I’ve been ordering and taking-out from here for about 3 years, there food is literally the best for lunch and dinner, I’ve never had a problem with anything and the inside of there establishment is very clean, there doing this new boba tea I recommend the mango strawberry strait fire, I always get the beef with mixed vegetables and steamed dippings lemme tell you the best combo ever, if you ever want a place to eat and your tired of ordering the same o same o this place is def the place you want to eat from, Worth the wait and money
