Came here a few years ago with my wife and we had been talking about how good the food was since. Just stopped in for the first time since then and had a pretty bad experience. The service was good. Everyone was nice, drinks were refilled quickly without asking, and plates were taken away quickly. But the food was really bad. Most of the food was inedible honestly. The sushi was some of the most disgusting sushi I’ve ever had. I made the mistake of smelling it before tasting a piece and nearly gagged. Tried a lot of stuff and everything was just off. The restaurant is dingy, and out dated. carpets are stained. Just overall an experience that was not pleasant for us. I’m glad I went so that I can stop holding on to that memory of it being good.
Price was affordable, but I would have rather paid more for better food.

12/25/2024 update Wife and I ate Christmas Dinner at Panda..never disappoints. High quality, incredibly prepared food. Thank you goes out to the staff for working and feeding us on Christmas! And it seemed all of Cookeville was in attendance. Very much appreciated!

One of the best buffets that I have been to. Food is fresh, what needs to be hot is hot and what needs to be cold is cold. With one exception, the sushi. It was room temperature, did not like it.
However, I highly recommend this restaurant. Highly recommend it.

We placed an online order for take out. It didn’t seem that busy, but they definitely weren’t polite at all upon picking it up. While we were driving, the food didn’t smell good. You know when it makes you more hungry on the drive home?! Nope! This was definitely the worse Chinese takeout we’ve had and what we planned on being two meals got thrown out. I don’t recommend here and I’m hoping we can find another place on our next visit!

A good Chinese buffet. Our family in town always wants us to go and it didn’t disappoint. The hot pepper chicken is by far the best thing on the buffet. Absolutely delicious. Staff was great and extremely friendly. Enjoyed it very much

This is probably the busiest Chinese restaurant in Cookville. Not to be confused with Panda Express.It’s primarily a buffet but you can order from the menu. It has all the usual offerings and I would rate it as above average for a buffet. They have sushi, ice cream and desert.

Decent selection of common Japanese/Chinese Buffet foods that were well prepared, Sushi selection was lacking, they had only 3 sushi roll types and they were pretty close the the same thing.
Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest that’s always disappointing to see.
Overall it was an Okay experience. If I’m really hungry, already in the parking lot and for some reason want Chinese buffet over Mexican food I would come here again.

Huge variety and the food was continually being replaced so it was all fresh. What’s good about this location is that it stay busy enough to keep the food moving, but not too busy to find a seat. Best Chinese buffet in Cookeville.
