It’s near impossible to find good Chinese food in Winnebago and Boone County. Panda is tucked away in the Poplar Grove area across from the Candlewick entrance. Atmosphere is low because it’s definitely a take out restaurant. However, the kitchen is 100% visible and you see all of the goings-on in the making of their orders. I like this because they are a very clean restaurant. The food is typically ready in 10-15 minutes and the people are nice. The hot and sour soup is made to order and the crab rangoon are wonderful. From my experiences in the area, best Chinese food around.

Prices have gone up and I understand that. Everywhere has. However, portions got smaller and there was a tiny piece of shrimp in the sweet and sour shrimp. All breading and that was over cooked and hard. Very disappointed. Always liked Panda Garden

Best Chinese I have ever had. Fried rice is AMAZING! I love that they are family owned and super nice. They only take card over a certain amount so that’s a bummer but understandable. Still 10/10.

I called to place an order for pick up only to get yelled at by some man on the phone because its “not panda express it’s panda GARDEN” then he refused to place the order for me because I had never been there before. I just heard really good things about the place and wanted to try it. I knew exactly where I was calling and what I was ordering. Absolutely will not be trying to eat there again.

Panda Garden is Fantastic. I am a Picky and Extremely Judgmental Chef. Mandarin Cuisine is usually either Excellent of Horrible. This place is Excellent!! The food is Fresh, perfectly balanced. My wife is Pregnant and also extremely picky. They made Their General Tsao special for her with Tofu instead of chicken. She hasn’t been this happy with Takeout food in Months. It was Quick And Delicious and I Highly recommend them. Also there Sauces are made in house and are by far some of the best I’ve Ever had anywhere in the country. I never give Five Stars to any Restaurant. But I would give Panda Garden 10 if I could.
