I have been to Panda Garden a few times. I ate in store once, got take out a few times and got delivery for the first time tonight.
For the price, it’s the best value as far as take out and delivery goes. As you see from the photos, you get a plethora of food for around $25-$30 and it’s probably the cheapest you’ll get through a delivery service.
The food is good, but not great. The value is exceptional for the amount you get and is always hot, fresh and quick. The mains are quite decent, however they overload them with cheaper veg like onion and green pepper.
I was not fond of the Hot and Sour soup, it a weird greasy film and I didn’t taste good at all. The Lo Mein needles are a bit thick and have zero taste. The fried rice is not your traditional fried rice, it’s pretty much just brown rice of sorts.
In conclusion, average at best. Nice price and decent food if you are feeding a family and want something different without breaking the bank. If you’re connoisseur of Chinese cuisine, skip it Kudos to them for giving an affordable option and again, it’s not horrible.

It was okay. The General Tsos had “spice levels”, I chose medium and it wasn’t hot at all. Also the chicken wasn’t that tender, however the food was PIPING HOT.
The Vegetable Fried Rice was DELICIOUS!! I LOVE how they make it without Mushrooms! We came here super late at night, and we were super happy they were still open.
We also enjoyed their choice of drinks! They had the newest of the new! Like the Cranberry Cherry Ginger Ale!! Which was Fantastic.
KEVIN took our order and he was awesome and super charismatic. Even talking to us about his little baby, and the similarities they share of being a year and a half!
The place was well organized and pretty clean! Had everything that you need! And VERY FAIR prices.
The won tons are delicious and generous portions of sweet and sour sauce!
They even allow you to upgrade your rice for only One Dollar more.

A simply decorated but cozy dining area. You have to order from the counter area and they call out your dish when it’s ready. The price for my chicken and vegetable lunch was only $8.50 and it was a generous portion. I will go back again to try more dishes.

The food was about mall quality. All right, but nothing amazing. The chicken seemed to be a little chewy. The wait was about 15 minutes from order till it was brought out. Seemed like a while.
I would give the customer service about a 2 out of 5. When we ordered the woman seemed annoyed. No niceties whatsoever. When the food was brought out we said thank you, but she just dropped it on the table and turned around.
There was no sweet tea. Their fridge appeared to have some white cups labeled unsweetened, but I’m not sure what that was about exactly.
We will probably not eat here again unless we are dying for Asian style dishes by Lowes.
Update: We ate here again. Customer service and food were both worse than before. Everything had the same nasty sauce on it. The cashier looked at us like we were idiots while ordering, only talking to the other worker. We will not return again.

I was born and raised in NYC. This place is definitely NY style Chinese takeout. It’s my favorite place to eat Chinese Takeout. It’s hard to explain what NY style tastes like if you have never had it, but give this place a try if you can. I think it’s the best on in Knoxville.

Ordered vegetable Lo Mein and general tso’s chicken with broccoli and white rice. The Lo Mein was great! Good noodle, firm fresh veggies. The white rice was good. But now the General Tso’s chicken…well the sauce is very thick and sweet without any spice and there is ALOT of it! The chicken of course is dark meat and a little grisly. It was very disappointing! I would never order the General Tso chicken again.

I ate in during my lunch break. The place looked clean. I got my order of sweet & sour chicken within 10 minutes & it was piping hot. The coke tasted ok. The food, however, was very bland. I even tried an egg roll, & it was bland as well. The portion size for the price was great, I just wish the food had tasted better.
