Extremely long lines usually, coupled with exceptionally stingy and impolite workers. Portion sizes are not heaping scoops and on numerous occasions you receive much less then normal on entrees such as honey walnut shrimp (F4: standard is 7 and you get 4-6) than any other Panda Express. This is coming from someone who has worked within the company for an extended period of time before.

Panda Express at EWU is perfect for students craving a quick, tasty meal!
Generous portions, classic dishes done well, and friendly service. A convenient and satisfying campus food option!

The food is the normal Panda, can’t go wrong. The three stars is for the older employee with glasses, who was working the register today at lunch. Not only have I seen him yelling at students in previous days, but he also threw a young ladies’ grubhub order on the counter. She told him she already had a bag, he didn’t listen and put hers in a brown paper bag and then literally tossed it on the counter. This man is very rude from most encounters I’ve seen with him. I understand fast food is tedious and grueling work, I’ve been there; but at least be a little professional.

Getting in was a little tricky at first cause it was on EWU campus but the campus isn’t too crazy to navigate and you can see the Panda logo outside the building. It was really smooth ordering, just get in line and read the menu. The menu is ordered so you can easily read how to order and what you’re gonna get. There’s a handy pepper icon next to the spicier options. Had the Orange Chicken and Kung Pao with Chow Mein and fried rice. All very tasty for fast food, though personally the Orange was a little strong on sweetness for me. While the Rice was kinda dry it did taste good and the Chow Mein was good. I appreciated the amount of vegetables in the Kung Pao Chicken and it had a good amount of spicy heat. Got an Egg Roll too and that was very nice, added a little soy sauce for a bit more flavor.

My 5 boys ranging from 15-22 decided to walk across Cheney to treat the youngest to his favorite place for his 15th birthday. I work 12 hour shifts I the ambulance and they wanted to help celebrate since I worked this day. An older employee (they said maybe 45-50) was rude, yelling, would not accept their gift card, and basically acted like a toddler. Not the customer service I’m used to from Panda. Disappointed for sure. It was a long cold walk, and this guy ruined their experience. Shame on him.
