This Panda Express in Lake Stevens right off of highway 9 is one of Lake Stevens newest fast food restaurants. The Chinese fare here is typical Americanized Chinese cuisine, but is still pretty good. All the food has a lot of sodium, so if you are salt restricted you have to be careful about what you order; they do have nutrition information on their website. Otherwise, they have a lot of foods to choose from. My personal favorite is the orange chicken and rice, but you can’t go wrong with anything you decide to order. The staff is friendly and make your food very quickly. There is a large drive-thru for your convenience, although I haven’t been through it so I don’t know if you can order there or on the app. I HAVE eaten inside at one of the customer tables. The tables and floors are kept very clean. And the true judge of a restaurant’s cleanliness, employee work ethic, and food quality being the bathrooms, the customer bathrooms at this Panda Express location are kept very clean. Come here and dine in or order take out food for an enjoyable and quick lunch or dinner.

We were so excited to finally get a Panda in lake stevens so we went there for an early dinner with our daughter. Ordered a biggie plate w/ sesame shrimp & beef and it was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. There were probably 4 pieces of shrimp & no beef. Crazy bc that entree was also an up charge. All of our plates were extremely small. At other Panda’s, you could expect at the very least that the rice would a heaping scoop. The kids meal must’ve been meant to feed a toddler bc there’s no way a child over the age of 3 could be full off the 3-4 pieces of orange chicken given. Hopefully the girl that helped us was new and this isn’t a standard thing or else we’d rather hit up an actual restaurant down the street for the price we paid. Most of the staff looked like they were giving normal panda portions through the drive thru so we might have just been unlucky to get the girl helping us while dining in. We also weren’t given any fortune cookies. We ignored that though because that was the least of our worries.

Geniunely shocked. This is THE best Panda Express I’ve ever had. Everytime I’m up in the area I have to come back. So clean so fresh amazing staff so friendly and so sociable! I just LOVE it! Wait times can be long but man oh man what can I say KUDOS to the manager here! Talk about systems in place to make a restaurant run well! THE BEST EXAMPLE IVE SEEN IN FAST FOOD in almost all my years! Panda Express should be proud of this location!

Great staff. Food prepped before scheduled time, was super easy to pick up. Parking is somewhat difficult, but that may be fixed if the dirt lot just east will get paved at some point. Great location, right off Highway 9. Highly recommend!

I came to this new location today. My order came out to 9.51. I paid $10 cash and was owed $.49 in change. The employee said that due to the store having no pennies, they were rounding up. I thought this meant I’d get 45 cents change, but instead they rounded up to the nearest DOLLAR and gave me no change. My receipt called this a “donation.” This is theft! It may just be $.49 cents but how much does it add up to across all their customers? This is unacceptable and I want this made right. I’ve filed a corporate complaint as well.

My husband stopped for lunch and asked if I wanted anything. I just wanted a small white rice and an order of the cream cheese rangoons. The rice was very salty, which I don’t understand. It’s rice, it’s not supposed to even be salty. Along with that I pulled a hair out of my mouth mid chew with the rice. It got immediately tossed. And every time we’ve gotten the cream cheese rangoons it’s like they aren’t quite cooked all the way. We’ve given this Panda Express quite a few chances and we’re always left disappointed

If I were to rate this express restaurant for their food, I would give them a 5-star. Their food is always excellent quality, hot and fresh. The portion sizes are good for the cost. Unfortunately, every time I’ve come here for lunch, I’ve experienced an average wait time of 25-30 minutes which is completely unacceptable for a fast food restaurant. I’ve dined in twice and used the drive-thru three times. Each time I’ve used the drive-thru, there was only 2 or 3 cars ahead of me and the wait time was always 25 minutes or greater. Ordering the food inside the restaurant, there were 5 people ahead of me once and 7 people ahead of me for the second dine-in experience with a wait time of 23 minutes for the first sit in visit and 28 minutes for the second sit in visit. There appears to be plenty of staff and they are professional and courteous but the issue is that they are constantly running out of food because they wait until there are only 1 or 2 servings left before they will make more of a dish which results in constantly waiting for 2 or more dishes. This is a new restaurant location so perhaps they will become quicker when they are more established. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to pick up an order here during my lunch break with the extremely long wait times.

Placed online order when I left Arlington at 7:38pm. Arrived 8 minutes before expected ready time. Food was ready at 8:02, just after scheduled time. Staff was super friendly even when they were stacked with pick up orders and a few dine ins. Our two big plate to go orders were filled to the brim. Orange chicken, walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, super greens, chow mein and fried rice were all fantastic. Will 100% be back!

I’m not entirely sure why so many other people are complaining here; Panda express has a formula for their portions and recipes, if you don’t like it go to another takeout place (or just say you don’t like vegetables?). For being a newly opened location of course it’s going to be busy & you might need to wait a little longer, duh. For me, the food is as good as any other PE, but having a drive-thru option is great and the crew is super friendly!
