Panda Express, an American Chinese chain originating in California and rapidly expanding globally, has a location at the ERB Memorial Union on the University of Oregon’s campus.

One of Panda Express’s standout offerings is their signature dish, “Orange Chicken.” It consists of boneless chicken that’s first deep-fried and then wok-cooked in a delectable sweet and spicy orange sauce, infused with dried chilies, Sichuan pepper, and tangerine peel. The crispy chicken perfectly balances sweet and sour flavors, accented with citrus and chili undertones.

I must say, the students(?) working here are professionals. Kind, quick, courteous. Real fast draws in a world of slow fast food countenance. As for the food? Not my cup of Moo Gai Pan. Hot, well cooked, tender, fresh – just not for me. I may stumble in my stimble world that way again. Fried Rice I would order again. Maybe the Egg Rolls. My nephew enjoyed it, so there. Tastes for the Younger World.

We ordered a bigger plate with double orange chicken and ONE serving of teriyaki chicken. We waited 15 minutes for our food just for it to be very very wrong. They gave us THREE SERVINGS of Teriyaki chicken and no orange chicken. When we asked for our orange chicken they gave us this tiny tiny box with orange chicken inside…..smh

Good service, good food, so-so pricing. The staff are speedy and professional and pack the plates really well which is a refreshing change from the Chipotle where you can get things half-filled. They have a large sign advertising that they’re hiring, however the wording on the salaries and pay can be seen as a little misleading. There’s plenty of seating, however it can get filled up FAST during busy hours so you may have to take a bit of a trek to get to some clean, empty tabling.

“You’re telling me a shrimp fried this rice?”

I did a pickup order through the app so I didn’t have to wait in line. Got there at my est. pickup time and had to wait for chow mein, which was fine. But I watched him do 2 SCOOPS of the entree i picked and only got 4 pieces of sesame chicken!! I watched them pile on the side, but to get so little protein out of 2 small scoops is absurd.

It has been a Thanksgiving tradition of ours for the last several years to get Panda Express for the Family. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the location closest to me, so I placed a large order at the next closest location… I didn’t realize it was the small one inside the college. I feel terrible for the burden I put on the staff, but it turned out great… the quality of the food was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Thanks so much, our family really enjoyed the meal!

I love this place now that they added the hot orange chicken.

I’d give it a negative score if I could. They weren’t open at 11:30 when I went and it took them a long time to finally open, so they were hours late on that. Then when they finally opened they had nothing but two dishes made and made me wait thirteen minutes of my half hour lunch for them to make teriyaki chicken. Workers there were rude and almost found how pathetic the restaurant is funny. They have no signs saying they don’t take cash, but they don’t. It’s stupid. Please don’t go here. 0/10

Ordered a plate with chief mein, fried rice and two chicken entrees PLUS greens. With no explanation or communication, they were “out of” greens so substituted more chicken. Plus two appetizers, ordered and paid for, were simply left out. (Doordash credited for those two but said there was nothing they could do about greens.) And not even fortune cookies qere included

The workers here are incredibly lazy. I hope a manager sees this. The cashier had to take care of an entire line, meaning that I waited about 20 minutes in a short line, despite there being 2 workers with nothing to do standing in the back.
By the time I got up to the front, the items I wanted to order were nearly run out, or completely gone. I could see the 2 cooks in the back laughing and playing on their phones and I had to ask them to make more chow mein (I don’t work there…).
I ended up not getting everything I wanted, and when I complained about the wait, the staff member snapped back at me that I “chose” to wait. Pretty bad service for employees being paid $17 an hour.
