Was in downtown, close to campus and needed some fast food. It was decent food but not hot, but how does a $10.90 meal become $13.56 at ring up? There was a long line of people behind me so I felt the pressure to just pay.

Chicken teriyaki was fresh. Line was a bit longer than I thought it would be, and they weren’t serving orange chicken that day. Staff was very nice and apologized by giving me extra chicken teriyaki which I appreciated. I would like to go back and try the orange chicken.

Are they ever open? They don’t have hours posted and every time I go it’s closed. Sucks cuz there’s NO Chinese food downtown IF I WANT ORANGE CHICKEN AT 9am that’s my business dagnamit. China Chen is all soups I just want some fried rice and beef and broccoli also China Chen’s menu is weird to read and the ppl working a kinda rude and unapproachable. BOOM TWO REVIEWS IN ONE. Funny thing is I MANAGE RESTAURANTS I JUST GAVE TWO BUSINESS THE KEY TO MAKING MORE MONEY. I expect the check in the mail money by Monday

They do not accept the Panda Rewards and the food presentation was sloppy with slow service to top it off. Not very impressed. Also, so fountain drinks, just bottled soda.

I mean, it’s just a Panda Express with a Soviet bread line worth of people in front of you. Just go somewhere else tbh

It depends on when you go but there is a very real chance that you will wait an hour to get the worst Panda Express you’ve ever had. The workers are exhausted because they’re SWARMED by people (not their fault). Usually this happens at lunch hour. This is a great use case for automated food technology that supplements human workers. Its not fair to the employees to expect them to fill this scale of demand and it’s not fair to the consumer to ask them to accept such a poor quality of goods at the usual price. Automation here will supplement human workers not replace them.

Waited 7 minutes for veggie rolls that would be ready in 5 minutes then was told they havent started them yet. Okay i guess that happens…but then i was charged for my food as if i had purchased the veggie rolls?. Not coming back which is unfortunate because its the best food place on campus.

One of the best kept secrets is that non students can eat here too. They don’t care if you want to walk in from city hall to get some orange chicken, which is ususlly just as good as their many other locations. They don’t have their teriyaki chicken here though. And lines get long at lunch time.

They’re open when school is in session, afternoons and early evenings. And there’s free street parking after 6pm, to the north of the Engineering Building.

Very crowded during lunch hours, always expect a line when you visit. I recommend using Tapingo to order ahead from this location online. Food here is on par with normal Panda Express’s and is good as usual.
