They do a great job managing the dinner rush too. Could be faster with the eggplant tofu for my vegetarian partner, but the wait on that has been less than 5 minutes when we’ve had to wait.
My go-to food spot when I’m in Burlingame or Millbrae (for a board gaming convention…), or even when I’m driving south from SF.
Not sure why people complaining already. It’s brand new store , hopefully they maintain same consistency and service.
Walking in, the place still had that new-store shine—everything was spotless, the counters gleamed, and the air was filled with the aroma of freshly cooked food. You could tell the team was still settling in, but they were working hard to keep up with the buzz of opening day.
I ordered a plate with fried rice as the base, choosing the iconic Orange Chicken and the sweet yet savory Honey Walnut Shrimp as my entrees. The fried rice was warm and fluffy, with just the right amount of veggies and scrambled egg. While it wasn’t the star of the plate, it paired perfectly with the mains.
The Orange Chicken was everything I hoped it would be—crispy, tangy, and just sweet enough to keep me reaching for the next bite. It’s one of those comfort dishes you can always count on, and this location nailed it. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was another highlight: tender, lightly battered shrimp coated in a creamy glaze with candied walnuts for a touch of crunch and sweetness. It’s definitely worth the extra charge if you’re in the mood for something indulgent.
As a little treat, I added Cream Cheese Rangoons, and they didn’t disappoint. Crispy on the outside with a creamy, slightly tangy filling, they were the perfect complement to the main meal.
The staff deserves a shoutout for handling the opening day rush with grace. While there were a few hiccups—understandable for a new store—the service was efficient, and the team seemed eager to make a good impression.
This new Panda Express is a game-changer for me, especially since it’s just a short walk from the hotel. It’s not just about the food—it’s about having a place close by that feels convenient, comforting, and reliable.
