Reviews
I ordered Orange Chicken, Chow Mein, and Beijing Beef, because if you’re going to wade into this pool, you might as well belly-flop.
The Orange Chicken is the restaurant’s chaotic muse: lacquered in a glaze that could double as industrial adhesive, sweet enough to make pastry chefs blush. It crunches, clings, then assaults my palate like a citrus-scented linebacker. Is it balanced? Of course not. Is it weirdly satisfying? Absolutely.
The Chow Mein eats like a soft-spoken understudy that is pleasant, slightly oily, a bit like noodles rehearsing for a role they’ll never fully master.
The Beijing Beef is the troubled cousin at the reunion — deep-fried strips coated in a sauce that tastes like soy sauce, brown sugar, and existential crisis. Yet somehow, I keep eating it.
Everything here is almost food. Not haute cuisine, more like caloric improv. But the joke’s on me: it works. I walk in thinking I’m slumming it; I walk out a little ashamed, a little grateful, and mildly sodium-poisoned.
Three stars because this place is the culinary equivalent of junk-drawer dining…messy, mismatched, but undeniably useful when the human condition requires cheap pleasure and absolutely no introspection.
As for the food itself, the quality was not up to par. Both the chicken and the shrimp were extremely oily and overly sweet. There was way too much sauce compared to what I usually get at other branches, making it heavy and hard to finish.
I hope the management trains the staff to be more helpful with the menu options and ensures better consistency in food preparation.
Thank you.
Atmosphere is good and places seem always clean in sitting areas especially. Good quality I would say is consistent, better consistency than other Panda Express restaurants.
The staff is friendly as well. Would recommend it!!
