Medium sized order for 3 people on a Saturday evening. The order was ready right when I got the notif, everything was accurate, hot and tasty. I don’t feel like pandas portions have really changed over the years even now with everyone moaning about it.. I do tend to go off peak hours (not really ever a lunch spot), but it was fairly busy with takeout orders and nothing was skimped on. Good food, decent price.. got exactly what I expected.

This location is perfect if you want to have your food STOLEN or better – if you want to take someone else’s order for FREE! Really. They don’t verify any information for the pickup orders. Our order was picked up by a random person and even though our screen very clearly still said, “confirm pickup”, they didn’t try helping at all. They didn’t even try verifying OUR information. They had us go home, see that our food was in fact not delivered by a dasher BECAUSE IT WAS A PICKUP ORDER, go back, tell them that the food was stolen, and call door dash customer service from the parking lot. Customer service tried reaching them and they didn’t answer, we had to bring our phone to them. They didn’t apologize once, offer to remake the order or any solution for that matter. I’ve never had to wait over an hour for food from a “fast” food restaurant across the street from me. Extremely disappointing and infuriating.

This Panda was the 1st Panda Extress I have ever went to in my entire life of living. Being from The greater LA County area and growing up in Orange County, Panda is the last place anyone goes to really for Chinese food. I mean, since we have other Chinese restaurants. But here, was the closest thing to asian food when I first moved to SLO and didnt know any food joints and such.

Melted Plastic chow mien? Chipped tooth and choking problem plus everyone else who ate the chow menu from this batch is eating melted plastic toxins. Pandas reaction oh wow that doesn’t even sound possible. I’ve never even heard of that happening. No cares.

Great service from the staff, who are (for the most part) very friendly and courteous. Don’t be afraid to ask for a fresh batch of an entree; usually is quick to make. Food quality and taste is consistent, and for Chinese in this city, it’s about as good as it gets.

Small bad portions. Got beef and broccoli it was 3 big pieces of broccoli and one little piece of beef. Then the orange chicken I got was all the little tiny hard pieces.

Yo, honestly? Tigerell (might have misspelled that) made my day. I love being treated like I’m family. It makes a huge difference to me when I get service like I got tonight at the Foothill panda around 8pm. Been to this location multiple times and the food has been ok today was a zero out of 10 based on service in the atmosphere I went to the restroom before ordering and an employee opened a locked door while I was in the restroom with my baby. She said sorry but didn’t immediately close the door just stood there awkwardly for a second and didn’t lock it after opening it. Leaving my baby and me exposed Incase someone else walked in. This is inexcusable, I left right after as that is the worst experience I have had in any fast food place. Not even in the worst McDonald’s in the middle of nowhere has an employee opened a locked restroom
