Went to the new location next to Texas Roadhouse on a weekday during dinner. Parking was easy to find and it wasn’t too busy. Entrance as of 05/18/2023 is on Visalia Parkway.
I always enjoy coming here because I enjoy the flavors of the food and the amount they give you is worth the price. However, when I went they were giving less than what they usually give and they don’t give out samples. I’m pretty sure it’s due to inflation that they’re skimping on portions, but I’d personally pay a higher price to keep the portions as they were pre-COVID. In regards to the samples, I understand they stopped doing that due to COVID, but the pandemic is done. Let’s get back to that!
Anyway, a mini-rant. I really enjoy eating and I enjoy the food, but those 2 things left a bad taste in my mouth. The service is still good and the aesthetics of the new place is nice though.

They hook it up fat! Threw in way more extras than I have ever seen! Last time I came in for only energy drinks and they threw in a bunch of cookies! They are always very kind and professional. Even to each other. Love to see it.

I had a mobile place at 7:16 pm on 4/20/2025 on Easter and I was missing a. Whole entree of orange chicken missing all they told me was that they could replace my order replace I told them if I could get a confirmation email and they said no. I li e on the other side so it was extremely inconvenient. I spoke to Joanne hopefully they remember this is extremely disappointing and ruined my whole Easter what a shame I never go to panda and the one time I do go it was a huge disappointment this place has no accountability whatsoever

Went inside to order wasn’t too busy however workers were busy filling orders for online I’m assuming. Had to wait a very long time to get my food. Why is this normal for customers going inside to order their food waiting for online orders to get filled first causing way to long of a wait. I was even asked if I wanted to pay for my food while I wait I said no. Not cool. I’m not angry with workers they we’re all working hard and I’m sure this is a corporate decision but it’s terrible to make customers going inside to be served last. Times have changed and this is definitely not for the better

Portions are so small. I ordered kids meal and when I said I wanted the white rice and shrimp they only put 4 shrimp pieces in my order. That is ridiculous since the kids meal price is close to $10.00 each.

Last time I go there. It was a good place to get a quick meal for the family and it was reasonably priced. Not anymore. Over the past 3 months they’ve increased prices by more than 25%. They priced themselves out of me being a customer again.

Solid, predictable, and hits when you need it
The Panda Express in Visalia does exactly what it’s supposed to do — quick, reliable American-Chinese takeout.
The flavors are familiar, nothing overly special or local, but you know what you’re getting and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. I went with the teriyaki chicken and super greens, and it absolutely scratched that “I-need-a-protein-hit-now” itch.
Only minor gripe is the wait time for fresh/hot items — can be a little slow depending on when you walk in. But honestly, that’s just how Panda works, not a knock on this location in particular.
If you’re not chasing authenticity and just want a dependable fast meal, this place gets the job done.
4 stars. Clean, consistent, and satisfying when you’re in a hurry.

Placed an order at 2:11, order was supposed to be ready at 2:25 so I’m like okay cool. pulled up at 2:17 and let them know i was here. They told me it would be a couple min and to pull around to the front. Well 13 minutes go by and nobody comes out. so i pull around and my order has just been sitting there and nobody brought it out ? Unprofessional…. should’ve comped my meal just for the wasted time I spent. On top of that I didn’t receive a text like I usually do that my order was ready and they forgot the drink with my order so I had to go back in and get it from them. Yall need to train your people better and respect peoples time. I get being forgetful but like, dang. This was another level of incompetence.

Great staff, great portions, and fresh. Esmeralda is on top of this location and doing great along with the staff. I came when it was completely packed, and the speed of service felt like there were only a few customers. Well done!!!
