I love Panda Express as much as the next guy, but as I’m absolutely destroying my plate, I notice something on my noods. I notice that there’s some kind of paper material stuck to it. At first, i thought maybe I had dropped some straw wrapper in my food, & thought nothing of it. But as I continued eating, I noticed another noodle with paper on it. Come to find out, the packaging of the meal was peeling due to the heat of the meal. The chow mein had come out fresh, so I know it was pretty warm. I hope someone at panda that can make a difference WILL because I don’t feel particularly good when I’m eating paper at one of my favorite take out restaurants ):

I walk in at 8:40 with nothing but empty food trays with a little sign that says “if you don’t see your food choice just ask and we will kindly make it” and the first thing I’m greeted by is “all you see is what we have right now”. I get you close in 20 minutes but that’s kind of crazy to say at a big place like Panda Express. So I ask if I can get orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp, the lady then walks over to a old man cooking and says to cook the items, definitely the old man is pissed he’s being asked to cook food during working hours because he stood there in silence looking at her then slowly turned to go cook while throwing bowls and trays down. I always get the cream cheese ragoons but I felt bad even asking for him to cook those too. I went ahead and paid and patiently waited, was kind during the whole process and even wised everyone a good night on the way out.

Upon going home and taking the first bite of chicken it was very raw! (See photo) Seriously how is this even okay? Management is obviously not watching the staff until close and can’t follow simple heath code. Me and my girlfriend could have been very sick from this, not to mention he was not wearing gloves so I’m sure the raw chicken was not handled well at all.

I shouldn’t have to feel like a burden for ordering for and especially afraid to eat at this location again. Please have something done!

My husband and I had the unfortunate experience of Evelyn serving us our plates. Evelyn gave us an extremely small scoop of everything, and even took a decent amount of chicken OFF my plate, after scooping it on there. When I asked for a little more she glared at me, then placed a single piece of chicken on my plate, and closed the lid.
Evelyn gave my husband barely any beef on his plate, while being extremely rude to him as well. Evelyn kept speaking in a disrespectful tone toward him and making irritated faces while he was ordering and while she was scooping his food. Complete disrespect, I would never wish on anyone the displeasure of having to interact with her. I’m in disbelief someone with such an attitude problem can work in customer service..
If zero stars was an option, I would have rated her at that.
I’d imagine an employee wanting to please the customer and not damaging the companies image, however Evelyn clearly didn’t care about that. Evelyn was blatantly rude, and disrespectful the entire time. I live in Hermosa Beach so unfortunately this is my local Panda Express, however with this experience in mind I’ll happily drive elsewhere for decent customer service, and adequate portions.

not the best experience. the service was okay, and the interior was clean. but the servings were tiny & the chow mein was under seasoned. the food wasn’t impressive in my opinion.

First time at this location, and probably 200th time at a Panda Express, and I’m reviewing today because this Panda really stood out. Had a great conversation with Omar who took the time to learn why I ordered my regular order (Plate with fried rice, chowmein, broccoli beef, and Orange chicken) and then recommended and let me try out like 4 other entrees that’re similar and explained how they’re prepared the same. Was stoked to find future options that’re just different enough for me to give them a go. Checkout was friendly and quick. Got to say, might be my favorite Panda location.

This is by far the best Panda Express on the coast of CA. As someone who eats panda express nearly everywhere I go, I have to say that this is the only chain who has truly receptive service and will cook a fresh batch of Beijing Beef if the bowl is near empty. (Only do this during non-rush hours please) They are polite and attentive and the staff is always on top of their service.

Love this location! The staff are so nice and they really do a terrific job! It has been my pandemic comfort food place. They take great care to be covid safe for all of the guests and I very much appreciate the extra time and effort. I worked at a restaurant and cleaning is not fun. As for the food , it is prepared perfectly. Personally, I recommend the Eggplant Tofu! Thank you for all of your hard work and I 100% recommend to everyone.

I was on vacation from the UK and staying nearby. We drove here because we had heard of PE on twitch streams!! The customer service was superb, and the food was really good. I was impressed that they do not use any GM foods at all, which can be hard to find stateside. We both got a takeout box, and the food was just delicious. The beef and blackbean was my fave. Premises was super clean, even the bathroom. If I am ever in the area again I’d love to return. Please come to England, this is so good!
