I paid an extra $1.50 for a beef steak, just look how much meat there is in reality, minus the vegetables.
BTW the broccoli was tasteless, like grass.
Should never eat at Panda again
Fresh and hot, this place is always cooking food to serve and they prepare small batches to keep the food amazing.
They partner with charities and I trust the Panda Family so why not give a dollar when you pay.
Nice selection of bottled beverages including unsweetened iced tea.
When I arrived to pick up my order, I waited until it was clear to approach the counter. A young employee initially seemed like he was going to help but didn’t, and then Jose, an older, heavier-set employee, asked for my name. I gave it to him, but he couldn’t find my order. I pointed out that he had just looked at it twice, and he claimed the name was different. I showed him my order confirmation in two forms, both of which clearly matched my order. Despite confirming this multiple times, he smiled and still asked, “But what’s the name?”
At that point, it was clear to me that Jose was not interested in resolving the situation in a respectful or efficient manner. Even though he knew the order was mine, he continued to treat me dismissively. He asked, and i showed him again my text conformation with my name and also my online receipt. I told him that my order could be under my first or middle name, but instead of helping me, he insisted on making the situation more difficult than it needed to be. His rude demeanor and unprofessional behavior made me feel like I was being mistreated for no reason. In the end, he ended up handing me my order without even confirming my name and that was the reason for the hold up, even after I had provided all the necessary information.
As a first responder, I’m used to dealing with high-pressure situations, but this kind of treatment during a simple lunch pick-up was completely unnecessary. I expect professionalism and respect when I’m paying for a service, and today, I received neither.
Jose’s attitude was disappointing, and it left me questioning the level of customer service that Panda Express is allowing. I hope management addresses this behavior, as I don’t think it’s too much to ask for basic courtesy when picking up an order.
My issue is that the mall employee behind me (who came 6 minutes after me was allowed to cut in front and then she took a long time ordering because she kept changing her mind. So me and another guy behind me had to wait twice as long. One of the managers came out eventually and helped us out. The worst part is thought it was funny. I speak Spanish so I understood what was being said. Really unfortunate. I don’t mind waiting and if they would have asked me I would have allowed her to cut anyway. My concern is for people on a tight lunch break.
