Once I ordered I was relieved. Took me another hour to get home.
Finally about to eat. And the beef and broccoli is just broccoli. 3 small pieces of beef! Like what the actual hell! If I wanted vegetables only I could have just gotten that. Jesus Christ. I paid cash so I can’t even get a refund nor I can’t even go back since it’s too far. This place is not worth it.
I spoke with Desiree, the store manager, and there was no urgency or effort to fix the situation. To make matters worse, the Teriyaki Chicken in my order was burnt, which shows a lack of quality control on top of poor service.
Online orders should be prioritized and food quality should meet basic standards. This visit was frustrating and a complete waste of time. I hope upper management addresses both the service issues and food preparation problems.
I usually enjoy Panda Express and have been a fairly regular customer, but unfortunately, my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. This was hands down the worst experience I’ve had with the chain, and I felt compelled to share it.
To start, the portion sizes were shockingly small. One of my meals barely had more than a single decent bite of chicken the rest was just a few tiny scraps. The second meal wasn’t much better, with only about three bites of protein total. For the price I paid, I expected a proper meal, not a snack-sized serving. It felt completely overpriced for what I received.
On top of that, my order was wrong. I specifically asked for steamed rice, but was given fried rice instead. I understand mistakes happen, but what made it worse was the ordering process itself. The woman taking my order kept mishearing or misrepeating what I said, even after I repeated myself several times. It got so frustrating that I ended up skipping one item altogether because no matter how many times I said it, she kept repeating something else back to me. It felt like there was a serious lack of attention or patience, which made the whole process exhausting.
I’ve never had this kind of experience at Panda Express before. Normally, service is efficient and the food is consistent. This time, however, it felt like everything that could go wrong did. I left feeling frustrated, unsatisfied, and a bit ripped off.
I truly hope this was just a one-off experience, but it’s made me second-guess returning anytime soon especially if I’m going to pay full price for barely half a meal. I hope management takes this kind of feedback seriously, because loyal customers shouldn’t walk away feeling this disappointed.
To make matters worse, I waited at the counter for nearly four minutes without being acknowledged by any of the eight staff members clearly present. When I was finally addressed, it was with a tired and frustrated “What do you want?”—not exactly the kind of greeting that encourages a return visit.
The only redeeming part of the experience was the cashier, Lucidine, who was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, that one positive interaction isn’t enough to outweigh the consistently poor service and lack of effort on the food quality.
Won’t be returning, at least to this location.
