We gave him $20 and watched him go order himself (he likes to be independent)
His order was $11. He handed the cashier $15. My son asked for his change back and the young blind fresh out of high school refuses to give it to him and says “no. You gave me a tip. “
I understand tipping is necessary, however forcing an 8 years old to tip you and taking advantage of a child is unacceptable.
Manager was less than helpful in the situation.
I’ve had it over 50 times…
The managers was on top of his game and handled a very challenging customer in the wrong like a champ.
5 stars all the way around.
– Wife found hair in food, I notified staff respectfully.
– Once I informed staff i was treated disrespectfully to the point where I was being mocked by the Panda Express staff members.
– I watched the employee inform the manager of the issue. I was brushed off and ignored intentionally while my wife sat and tried to take care of my 4 kids including 3 year old triplets by herself.
– Apparently, having hair in your food is acceptable. I watched the staff member go around and tell the other Panda Express team members “it was only one hair.” They all laughed and shook their heads in disbelief as if my expectations to be refunded me wanting a refund for insanitary food.
– I pray that as my kids start to grow up and get entry level jobs they are at least surrounded by people that care. The Panda Express management / leadership at this location demonstrates and teaches that poor customer service and intentional disrespect is okay.. Cmon Garret! As a manager you’re responsible for the early stages of career growth from these young adults.
Okay, let me get all of this out there first. We were probably 2/3 through the meal, almost done when my fiance pulled a long, dark hair out of her mouth. Although gross, The hair isn’t the reason I’m writing this review
I brought this to the attention of the lady working the register, showed her the hair etc. Her vibe and attitude was completely different from what it was when we were paying.. It was like as soon as she knew that there was a customer service issue that needed to be addressed – I was immediately pushed off to the side as if I were no longer a paying a customer and immediately treated disrespectfully. The first words out of her mouth were: “well you ate most of it”
As stated before, my wife and 3 year old triplet daughters had eaten a lot of it. That doesn’t change the fact that after your wife pulls someone else’s hair from her mouth it’s hard for her to continue to want to eat the meal or feed it to her babies. But again, that’s not the point of this review, so let me get back on track.
After the manager was notified I watched him intentionally ignore me and act as if I wasn’t standing there. Keep in mind I’ve got a family of 6. Including 3 year old triplets and a 7 year old that were now not eating because of the hair found in the food.
After having a short conversation with the manager I decided to call it quits. Since we had already consumed some of the food (which makes it worse) he was unwilling to refund the meal that had hair in it. He told me know while staring at the hair still halfway in a piece of chicken.
As him and I are having a conversation I see the employees talking about the situation in the background. Laughing, shaking their heads, throwing their hands up. But hey.. I guess if the roles were reversed they’d be totally okay scarfing down other people’s hair.
Like I said, cmon garret!
