Food was pretty good. The interior was pretty clean except for a bucket of liquid sitting next to the drinks and lids with a rag in it. I thought this was pretty odd. Definitely wasn’t appealing and rather disgusting.

The tea was also constantly dripping causing a mess on the floor. An employee was told about it but did not seem to care. Not only was this a concern for someone slipping and falling, it was very unappealing.

Besides those two things at the drink counter, everything else was fine. The staff working on the food line were very nice and generous with the portions.

The Asian lady which is a general manager who is a poor one at that, handled my problem poorly. I explained to her that the doordash app let me know that they had not assigned a driver yet, but she insisted that they made the food already so she couldn’t wait to make it after the DD came so it could be fresh. She basically said “inventory” would be an issue if she remade my order. I politely asked her if she could make it so that I could have hot food when the door Dasher came. But she insisted on hollering at me on the phone saying inventory this inventory that, you don’t understand anything about inventory which I do as a former manager and fast food worker for 20 years. The point I am making is Ibasically was asking her could she please wait until the door Dasher came to make my order so it wouldn’t be cold

This is the second bad review i have to write for y’all. i didn’t have a good experience today with the port arthur panda express…This is for Eliza C. And i hope the manager or the franchise takes this seriously because it is not okay to be mean to your customers. Me and my boyfriend came through the drive through today around 2:15pm, im in a good mood so is he. Im waiting for eliza to say can she take my order but all i get was a hello. The hello was that me and my boyfriend heard had an attitude in it. A very no emotion hello, it threw both of us off guard but i brushed it off. We came up through the drive through after ordering and eliza was there, i paid, she gave me a bit of mean girl energy when i had to finish my pay off with cash. i got my food said thank you And told her to have a good day and she closed the door in my face. I stayed there for a second because i was in shock. Maybe she was having a really bad day and didn’t want to talk. But to me that is mean. and very unprofessional.

Warning Review:
I gave a 1 star review because I had to choose something.
Here is a warning review, if you eat at this Panda Express today, you should pay very close attention to your drink cups and especially the lids.
Today, my wife, my 12 year old son, and I ate at this location. We were given our drink cups from behind the counter. My son and I walked over to the area of the fountain machine to make our drinks. My son finished first and stepped over to get a lid and a straw. I then reached out to get one of the lids and noticed a clear liquid on the lids. The liquid was on my fingers. I sniffed the liquid on my fingers to see what it was. Right next to the lids which by the way we’re in lid holders mounted flush with the countertop, was a red bucket with murky water and a blue cloth in it. Im guessing someone was at some point wiping the counter and walked away leaving the bucket there. When I smelled the liquid it smelled like stale water. I put 2 and 2 together and realized that tge liquid on the lids came from that bucket. I hurried to my son and told hom not to drink his drink and I took his lid.
Here is the absolute worst part!!!!
I went to the register to let them know about the lids and I needed new ones. An employee comes over to the lids and takes the top few away and says ok those are good without checking them. I grab another lid and it still has liquid on it….I tell the employee. Im still astonished at his response but here it is…he says its just sanitizer. I said would you want to drink sanitizer? His reply was priceless….well he said, your not drinking with the lid are you?! Are you kidding me? Panda Express where is the food safety education?! He continued to argue his point. I finally said im.not going to argue with you, I need new lids.
Where’s the health department when you need them!
Just know if you got a large drink lid from here this afternoon it had liquid sanitizer all over it.
Btw he didn’t say no
when I asked him if he would drink sanitizer.
What a disgrace!

Ordered for dinner tonight. Left a kind note in the special instructions, amazing staff matched the energy! Food tasted great, felt fresh, and I appreciate how many peppers were in the spicy orange chicken! 10/10. Thank you blue pen person and the rest of staff on shift! <3

On Oct 5 around 8:30 p.m., I visited the Panda Express in Port Arthur, TX. I ordered Honey Sesame Chicken, but the employee, Nathan, said it was only available for online orders. When I asked him to pretend I ordered online, he agreed after speaking with the manager. He asked me to pull forward and they would bring me the order. As I pulled forward, I reminded him not to forget me, and he rudely replied, “I’ll try not to.” His disrespectful attitude was unacceptable and unprofessional.

The manager, however, handled the situation perfectly—she was polite, professional, and truly cared about resolving the issue. Her leadership and composure were outstanding, and she deserves recognition.

Nathan’s repeated rudeness shows he should not work in customer service. There is no excuse for his behavior, and I strongly believe he should be terminated immediately to protect Panda Express’s reputation.

Serving unsweetened tea with no sweetener options anywhere in the building. All he had was Sweet and low, the pink packages. And the person at the counter thought it was sugar. The year is 2025 and we have sugar, raw sugar, Sweet and low, Splenda, equal and a few other varieties of sweetener available to buy. A person would think a restaurant that’s selling unsweet tea would have more than just one option available. Maybe if a restaurant would take the time to hire actual culinary arts graduates to work in their restaurants, customers to get better service, or at the very least better food and drinks.
