I came to Fort Leonard Wood to attend a graduation. You have to have a security clearance to be on the base. The Panda Express is in the food court of the exchange building. Google maps kept giving me locations in St Robert. I didn’t want to leave the base. Non military can eat in the food court but not buy from the exchange which is in the same building. The chow mein and super greens were fresh and very good. The staff got my food out quickly. The tables in the food court were clean. The entire food court was clean.

Hats off to these three wonderful women (Charzel, Ayumi and Arlyn) that I saw while I waited in line. They were unphased by the volume and chaos of family day for all the trainees and their family. I’m sure the entire team working today should be recognized but these three were what made my experience great. I really wanted the Kung pao chicken and I believe it was Arlyn who was on the serving line went to the back to cook up another fresh batch. The food was great and the noodles and spring rolls were very delicious but the service and atmosphere they display in the midst of chaos was amazing. I do hope your company sees this and asks how yall maintain such a great operation tempo.

I’ve been to a lot of bases and tried many Panda Express locations both on and off post. While most have been great, this particular Panda has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff is awesome, the food is always spot on, and there’s rarely ever a wait in line. Watch as your food is being prepared, this was a family meal order to go, the container of broccoli and beef only had one piece of beef in it. I was distracted by one person talking as another prepared my order. The crispy sesame shrimp and beef…the beef was tough and the shrimp was mushy, so both containers went in the trash.
