Reviews
Panda Express has the “fast food Chinese” label attached to it, and coming from the UK (where our version of Chinese takeaway can be… questionable at best), we weren’t expecting much beyond convenience.
What we got was a genuine surprise.
Service was incredibly quick without feeling rushed, the food was hot and fresh, and the portion sizes were borderline heroic. Proper value for money, especially considering the downtown Chicago location.
Everything was packed with flavour. No bland, soggy disappointment here. Just generous servings, bold sauces, and food that actually felt satisfying rather than regretful.
For a quick lunch stop, it absolutely delivered. Sometimes you don’t need fine dining, you just need solid, tasty food done efficiently, and this place nailed it.
Proof that “fast food” doesn’t automatically mean “low quality.”
. Every time I visit, I leave satisfied—not just full, but genuinely comforted. There’s something about their Orange Chicken that feels like a warm hug after a long day. It’s consistently crispy, tangy, and just sweet enough. It never disappoints, no matter how many times I order it.
But it’s not just about the food—it’s the experience. The staff is always welcoming and efficient, even during the busiest hours. They treat every customer like they matter, not just another order to get through. That means a lot, especially these days. You can tell there’s pride in what they do.
What I really appreciate is the freshness. You can see them working in the kitchen, cooking everything in small batches. The smell of fresh stir-fried vegetables and savory sauces fills the space. It feels like fast food, but better—more intentional, more satisfying.
Panda Express has become my go-to comfort meal, and it never fails. Whether I’m grabbing a quick lunch or picking up dinner after a hectic day, I know I’m going to get quality food and kind service. That consistency is rare—and worth celebrating.
Thank you, Panda Express, for always showing up and feeding more than just our stomachs.
Made the experience better. Very friendly and personable with everyone
Food was great too
We enjoyed absolutely everything we ordered — there wasn’t a single dish we didn’t like. I will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves great Chinese food.
For $26, for two “bigger plates,” they are rather skimpy with the portions of everything. The orange chicken was fresh, but considering how long people were waiting for their orders to be filled, they could’ve done a little better with the portions. Might go back if I’m nearby.
Also, I’ve noticed that the size of the noodles for the chow mein has gotten smaller (at other locations, too). Maybe a corporate thing or the recipe has changed!?
