They’re skimpy on the portion sizes. Why do I have to ask for each compartment to be filled? If I was as skimpy on the payment, they wouldn’t like it at all. Do better, Panda!
Also this location is on a frontage road adjacent to a major street. The food is always hot and tasty with all of the reliable flavors I expected.
The kung pao chicken was too spicy. It appeared someone isn’t leaving the peppers whole and the whole entree was overwhelmingly hot

Haven’t had panda in a long while, the new crispy chicken was good, but honestly the rice and noodles were mediocre, the portions are also way smaller than they used to be. It’s ok for when I’m starving while at work. Other than that it’s not an option.

Literally was able to hold the amount of orange chicken they gave me for my food. My noodles literally take over the plate. Very disappointed. My toddler was able to eat that and more. Their getting really cheap with their food servings. I also asked for sweet and sour along with extra sauces and I got four packages of the wrong sauce completely. Not to mention the food tasted terrible and super dry.

Beware of any 5 star reviews on this place, they are getting desperate. The food tastes stale and the only entree available was orange chicken. Everything else had been scrapped to the bottom of the bowl or never served at all as was evident by a clean, empty bowl where the entree should have been. I live in the area and have not been to this Panda in years because my last experience was awful. Sadly, their food quality, service, and selection has not improved. I’ll never come back.

Best Panda Express around my area. It must go through the food so fast cuz it’s always fresh every time I go there. No more free samples to test things but still they give you large portions here. Got to love that free fortune cookie at the end!

The location at 128 North Ave in Northlake sucks. They are always burning the chow mein, but worst of all is they give you small portions of food compared to the other restaurants. Today I got a bowl with Chow Mein and Kung Pao chicken. The bowl wasn’t even half way full with food. Other locations will fill the plate or bowl so that you have a decent portion, this location doesn’t fill anything at all.
They need to retrain their staff on proper portion sizes. What they’re serving is not worth what I’m paying.
Update – 12/11/2024:
Again their chow mein is still burnt. This place doesn’t get it. It’s not that hard to cook the food but they consistently burn it. You can smell and see that its burnt but they keep doing it. How are the managers not seeing this and teaching them how to properly cook food? You can clearly see scorch marks and black parts on the food.

I get trying to cut food loss costs but every time I come here no matter what time of day they’re out of white rice or orange chicken. Manager was too busy on her phone and coming up with lies to know what they have and don’t have and what time they ran out to know if they should make more of things or not. She didn’t know when they even ran out but came up with a quick lie. Great customer service.
