I could tell from the look on Emily’s face that it wasn’t going to be a great experience. I thought about walking out because of her attitude in the beginning. I should have trusted my gut because I walked out with no food after I paid for it. She did offer me a “free” meal prior to my departure but I won’t be back. This location needs some better training for managers or find someone who is better suited for the job.

Normally the food is great here and portions heavy but rice was undercooked and they skimped us out on the portions.
Place was clean otherwise and quiet.

Went back today and everything was much much better. Very attentive staff and very generous well cooked portions.

Stopped by here while in the area and wasn’t expecting a mess in the food section. The crew seems to be not bothered about this mess and the server dropping food on another food while scooping and serving the customers. I wish they can be more careful and get trained in proper food serving and cleanliness.

Today, we visited this place, and it was a very pleasant experience. The manager, Eric, was very kind and helpful—I wish all managers were like him. The closest Panda Express to my house is in South Elgin, but unfortunately, I have had very bad experiences at that location. I wish the manager in South Elgin (I think her name is Bianca) were at least half as dedicated as Mr. Eric.
Im changing my 4 Star experience to a 5 Star tnks.

Update 1/16/26:
I quit on this spot, the food tastes old and rancid. They don’t refill the food at all when they clearly look at the empty bowls and do nothing about it. So then they serve you the entree that is done and meanwhile they finally start preparing a fresh one of the other that you want BUT the rest sits there getting cold. Blegh.
OLD review: They are always so nice here. I like the orange chicken, noodles are yummy, the spring rolls are good. I really like the steak and shrimp when they offer it, with white rice.
Anyways all Panda’s that I have visited have been good.
