Have been to this Panda Express location about 10 times and they do a pretty good job! Food is usually very good and tastes freshly made. There has been 1 or 2 times the quality of the food was really not good but this is not the overall experience for this location.
Overall this location is VERY GOOD! I would suggest ordering during a busier time to get the freshest food but do expect to wait a few minutes during the rush hour. They are good at getting you through the line, usually! You should not have to wait too long!

Yes! I love Panda Express. This is one of my top choices in the Cedar Valley. If you’re like myself and enjoy getting some protein in your system after a workout or just simply hang out and eat lunch with your family after church, this is the place. Cedar Fall’s Culver’s is a close second but the service there isn’t the greatest. Every time I come this Panda the lines backed out the main door or close to it. They get our order and serve us food in no longer 15 minutes every time. Most of the staff is really nice (special shout out to Daniel). Owners a couple suggestions: Please consider getting a drive-thru and/or patio seating. The only other thing is they don’t leave knifes out for the guests. You have to ask the front counter for them and the last time I did that, one employee told me they must be out but another gave one to me right away. The tables were semi clean and the food has good portion sizes. I personally go with the bowl because I’m on a cut.

I normally like Panda Express and I get it often the time but NEVER get food here past 9:00 this is the worst experience I’ve ever had any any panda the orange chicken was SO burnt and crunchy under all the sauce like it was actually inedible. I hate to waste food and normally would just eat it even if it wasn’t good but this sucked so much I just threw it away.

Just spoke with the manager and she was very nice. Offered to replace our meal. The first visit didn’t go so well. Look forward to next week when I come back hopefully it’s a different experience. Thank you for being so kind.

My food is always delicious! The orange chicken, honey sesame chicken, and steamed rice is amazing! They don’t always give me enough sauces when I order online but either way the food is delicious every time I get Panda Express! I would drive all the way to another state to get their food!

Every time I order ahead, I get an email/text that my food is ready, drive there, and it’s not actually ready. They likely mark it as complete to look like they’re meeting time quotas.

I’ve lived in the Cedar Falls area my entire life, and this Panda Express location has gotten progressively worse over the years. The service is consistently awful. Online ordering is a joke. I’ve routinely waited over 20 minutes for my food after ordering ahead, only to watch walk-in customers get served before me. What’s the point of ordering online if I end up waiting longer? My orders are wrong constantly. Either something is missing, an item is unavailable, or I’m forced to accept a substitution. When I’ve ordered delivery and something is wrong, they tell me I have to come in to fix it—defeating the entire point of delivery. Half the time, I just give up.The drink machines are always out of syrup. The portions are stingy. When I’ve ordered in person, I’ve had servers barely give me a full scoop of food. It’s clear they’re trying to stretch portions rather than serve paying customers properly. The wait times are absurd. The worst experience I’ve had was waiting over 40 minutes for a single online order. This location is run poorly, the customer service is subpar, and the experience is consistently frustrating. I’d rather drive across town to the Waterloo location than deal with the Cedar Falls one ever again.

Food was fine. What I would expect at a Panda Express.
About 1 out of every 3 times I go there, there is an issue with the fountain beverages. Today, the ice machine worked, but most of the soda types were out, including all of the non-sugar options.
I settled for a warm, bottled Coke Zero. The cashier asked if I wanted a cup for ice and gave me a tiny one. I asked if I could have a larger one, typically used for soda and she said I would have to buy it.
I would have preferred fountain Diet Coke with ice to start with, but you didn’t have one. The bottled soda is warm. The least you could do is given me a reasonably sized cup to cool my drink — which was not the one I would have preferred.
The constant struggle to get the beverage I like when I go there is enough to reconsider my lunchtime choices.

Luckily, my meals are right. I ordered through App and they provided service when I arrived! Thanks for good deals in community during summer time!! Chow Mein, orange chicken, and broccoli are always my choice.
