A decent Panda Express serving the Grand Rapids MI area.
I came in for a quick dinner to go, while traveling across the state. It was Sunday evening and it was very busy.
The service was good, the manager took my order, she was polite and fast. The rest of the staff were working hard. Things weren’t being filled as fast as people were ordering, but that’s typical of Panda. So I ordered, paid, and the waited in the dining area for a while.
The food was good, Orange Chicken & Super Greens, my go to. The greens were OK, the orange Chicken was good. The portion of chicken was sad.
You can do worse, but you can also do better.

I sometimes have a little issue with portions at this location, but they came up really short this time on the entrees. The Beijing beef was almost 1 and 1/2 inches from being filled and blazing bourbon chicken was about 1 and 3/4 inches from being filled. Broccoli beef was about 1 inch.

Ordered thru postmates. Broccoli and beef plate. They gave me four tiny pieces of beef under a pile of broccoli. Blatantly shorting the beef. It did not smell fresh either. It smelt old and rotten. The 4 tiny pieces of beef i did get looked wretched.

This was hands-down the worst experience ever. Our team of 20 came to Panda Express at 6:40 p.m. after a full day of playing in a huge tournament, exhausted and starving. It is now 9:30 p.m. — almost THREE HOURS later — and we still don’t have our food. Meanwhile, we watched person after person who came in after us get served. The service was completely unorganized, disrespectful, and honestly unacceptable. We will never come back to this location, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone waste their time here.

I finally thought to give Panda Express a try and I ordered the orange chicken and fried rice bundle and I was completely disappointed. Both rice and chicken had like a wet dog taste and I just couldn’t take more than 2-3 bites. I called the manager for a refund and was told she doesn’t allow refunds. I will NOT be returning and will not recommend to friends & family.

Why offer pick up options if you still have to wait in line to pick it up like my food is prepared getting cold while I wait for 5 plus people to order their food and be checked out. Edit to add when finally up to get my food she asks my name I say exactly what I’m writing this review as and she didn’t believe that my food (the only order waiting) is listed under just last name b. I’ve never had this issue with this location but it definitely makes me want to avoid it. Like seriously I don’t understand what last name she was expecting. It’s clear as day. Photo is of the receipt they have tapped to the bag of pick up orders

I am updating my review to 3 stars, we have returned after a long period and service has improved as of the last couple of years. The food was great and the gal who helped us was very nice, the food was tasty and hot when we got it, very happy returning customers!

Went straight home after I purchased beef and broccoli with white rice. When I opened the container, I could tell the broccoli looked and smelled overcooked. I still tried it, and it was disgusting. This had obviously been sitting out for a very long time. The meat was hard and the dish was not hot. Very disappointed!!

ALWAYS TERRIBLE. We’ve given them too many chances and have finally called it quits, every time we go, they have the absolute worst customer service and they ALWAYS mess up our order. We pay extra to get the Walnut Shrimp and they ALWAYYYSSS give us the orange chicken instead, which doesn’t cost extra. The manager, or lack there of couldn’t be more inconvenienced and doesn’t care what so ever, and NEVER offers a solution.

One of my fav places. And i go to this location all the time. However im very disappointed and weirded out because my cream cheese ragoons tasted burnt. And weird. And i looked at it and they had black crusty unknown stuff all in them. i cant get the taste out my mouth yuckkkkkkk
