My portion of the mushroom chicken was skimpy. Barely had any. It looked like they ran out of it and did not wait for more. This was a pickup order. Very disappointed. You raised the price of your plates and bowls and give less? There are other places to go to have an enjoyable meal and if you want to be skimpy, I’ll go somewhere else.

Used to be great until they switched to AI in the drive thru. Can’t get my order right and keeps adding crap I don’t want to my order when I try to ask questions. I tried on a few occasions and just gave up. Not coming back. I’ll go to a small business with humans working.

I ordered online 2 days ago with normal sized portions on a bigger plate, had eaten it for lunch and dinner, so happy with it. I was craving some of the delicious honey walnut shrimp today, decided I just wanted a bowl. I at least expected this to be full. I understand portions and things, but to have 7 shrimp. Huh? I have never had an issue like this, any other store, they fill containers and at least have a bit more of the entree. I love panda and it’s a comfort food for when I’m upset, this just made my day worse. They were also not helpful when I went in to try to get it fixed, I don’t like being upset, or making people do more work, but seriously, they were rude and just stood there. I asked if 7 shrimp and like three walnuts were normal and they went yes. I would never yell at a worker but that’s not really costumer service when they just stare at me like I’m an idiot for being upset. I’ve been crying over a dead cat all day, I didn’t need to be treated like and idiot, not to mention I slipped getting in the building, with no wet floor signs in sight. Rice portion is great, I at least expected not to see as much of the bowl that I am able to see.

The food is excellent! Repeatedly I order: steam vegetables (broccoli, kale, cabbage) and double protein chicken breast. Love it! I had to wait on vegetables but it’s worth it.

Panda Express in Valparaiso has some ill-suited servers. I would give negative stars if this option were allowed. Today, for the first time in my life I had to tell this Asian young man (I am Asian too) to give me a larger portion. I said he was stingy. I think, he was thinking just about money. This is the second time he has served me with a bad attitude. Last time, he lumped everything (rice, super greens and mushroom chicken) in one bowl. I did not like it. So today I asked him to put the super greens in a separate container. He put a tiny portion in a tiny container. When I pointed out that the portions he put in the bowl (chow mein and mushroom chicken) were too little, he pointed out that this was because the super greens were in a separate container. He then proceeded to serve me more chow mein — not chicken mushroom — probably because chow mein is cheaper. Imagine the mindset.
Should he be working in the food serving business? NO, not at all. He should be working in a bank. When you offer food to a person, even in a restaurant, you should do it with grace, courtesy and respect. It was difficult for me to enjoy today’s meal and I may never return to Panda Express!

if they say you have to wait 5 minutes for something they’re out of(which is often) they mean 10-30. seems understaffed since they’re all running around working yet the three generic items everybody buys are sold out

I went through the drive thru and they Always get my order Perfect! Always a good meal. I got the plate with Orange Chicken and Chow Mein as the side. The food is Always hot, fast, and fresh. I also love the fact that they donate to the Children’s Hospital!
