I placed an order through MY Uber app and sent my partner to pick it up for US. She walked in, explained clearly that she was picking up an order for ME AND MY PARTNER, and instead of helping, Tammi immediately kept asking for a code that Uber NEVER EVEN PROVIDED.
While my partner was there, she called me trying to figure out what they needed, but there was NO CODE anywhere in the app. I had to send screenshots showing the FULL ORDER — the food items, my name, AND the date and time the order was placed — just to prove the order was real.
Even with all that proof, Tammi and Getro continued to make things difficult and treated my partner like she was trying to steal food. Because they refused to properly verify the order, she had to DRIVE BACK HOME and then DRIVE BACK AGAIN just to bring my phone and show them the Uber app directly.
After showing the order straight from MY phone, THEY STILL DIDN’T BELIEVE HER because there was no code. She had to argue with MULTIPLE employees just to get food that was already paid for. It made absolutely no sense — how else would she know the exact order details and my name if it wasn’t ours?
By the time they finally gave her the food, it was cold and the entire situation was frustrating and embarrassing. She was NOT an Uber driver. just picking up food for her partner. The lack of professionalism, common sense, and overall attitude from Tammi and Getro made this one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve dealt with.
I told the manager, Tammi, I was picking up an order for ME and MY PARTNER, but she kept demanding a code I DID NOT HAVE because my partner ordered through HER Uber app. There was NO CODE PROVIDED, so my partner sent screenshots showing the items, name, and order time.
That still wasn’t enough. They acted like I was stealing food and made things unnecessarily difficult. I had to DRIVE BACK HOME and then DRIVE BACK AGAIN just to bring my partner’s phone and show the Uber order directly.
Even after seeing the order, they STILL DIDN’T BELIEVE ME because there was no code. I had to argue with THREE EMPLOYEES just to get my food.
By the time they finally gave it to me, it was cold. I was NOT an Uber driver — just picking up my own order. Terrible customer service and zero common sense. One of the worst pickup experiences I’ve EVER had.
I am glad they are cleaning, but she should have removed the food to clean the fixtures then place them back. I walked out. Not sure I will come back to eat here, but especially beware near closing time.
