Great visit to this Panda Express! The food was fresh and hot, and the service was surprisingly quick even though they were busy. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. Definitely a reliable spot in Rock Hill for a fast meal.

Everything was fresh and delicious. Sesame chicken and green beans so crispy I wish I could have ordered an entire side of them. The orange chicken was so good and I love the fried rice. They were bringing out a new batch but what I had tasted so fresh and I love how it’s not loaded down with soy sauce. Reminds me of how I make it at home. Workers nice and service was great. Can’t wait to come here again.

When I entered the restaurant, it was empty except for the staff. When I approached the counter to place my order, I was ignored until an older Asian woman with a heavy accent finally came over to ask what I would like. She and the young woman who completed my transaction spoke very softly, making it difficult for me to hear them.
Once I sat down to eat, I noticed that the orange chicken was dry and chewy, with little to no sauce. It seemed old and stale, as if it had been sitting out for a while. The noodles were acceptable but not particularly good; overall, the meal felt bland. When I pointed this out to the staff, they looked at me as if I were crazy or confused.

I attended the Grand Opening of Panda Express on Wednesday, November 20th. I’ve had Panda Express before, but not as frequently as I would’ve liked because there was not a location in Rock Hill. I was there for all of the Grand Opening festivities which included the ribbon cutting ceremony with the York County Regional Chamber of Commerce, a special performance by the Rock Hill High Band and spins from Elite Entertainment. Also, as one of the first 88 guests, I received a Panda Express branded t-shirt and tote bag.
The restaurant was clean and casual while the décor held onto Chinese tradition, but with a modern twist. There was inclement weather that morning, but the staff did their best to keep the floors dry despite the crowd. I must also add that the staff was very welcoming and friendly.
I tried a Panda Bowl with Honey Walnut Shrimp and Fried Rice. This entrée was a whole lot better than I thought it would be. In fact, it became my favorite entrée there, beating out the Orange Chicken. The shrimp was an excellent size, the walnuts were crunchy, the sauce was sweet, and the fried rice had a traditional taste. I also tried the Plate option, which came with two entrées and a side. I chose the Black Pepper Sirloin Steak, Original Orange Chicken, and Chow Mein. The Black Pepper Sirloin Steak was stellar as it was packed with the most flavor out of all the entrees. There was also a plentiful amount of steak and the veggies were crisp. The Orange Chicken is a classic dish, which tasted just like I remember it to be. Chow Mein isn’t a side I normally get, but it will be one of my regulars now because I enjoyed it so much at my visit. I also enjoyed the Chicken Egg Roll and the Apple Pie Roll.
Overall, I think the food has an excellent quality for the price. I can’t wait to go back to try more and I hope this location gets the Bourbon Chicken.

Josh H and Bethany were fast, friendly, and efficient. Even during the dinner rush, the line moved quickly. The person serving me was patient as I made my choices and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which makes a huge difference. My entire order was assembled correctly and with a smile. Thank you for making my entire family happy and giving such good service.

I fell in love with panda express when they finally opened this location. I always get their orange chicken and never have any problems. However the last few times i’ve went, some pieces of chicken were rock hard. Like just rock hard fried pieces of breading, no chicken on the inside. When i went this time almost ALL the pieces were like that, i could barely eat it. Very disappointing 🙁

I love Panda Express and this location is no exception. However, 2 weeks in a row they have been out of steamed rice. Until these 2 times, I have never in my life came across an Asian restaurant out of steamed rice. How does that even happen?

Came to restaurant and staff was very rude especially young lady by the name Bethany G. Not sure what transpired as I was polite and only requested fresh broccoli and wanted to pay after food was plated. Ended up leaving and called to speak to manager and was advised she is the manager. This is the second time I received service from her and got same attitude. Hopefully something changes as I don’t see this business making it. There was also another young lady and the man on grill, following along with the lady. Grow up. Definitely avoid on the weekday and come on the weekend. Never have a problem during weekend.

Absolutely the best Chinese food I have had in a long time, from the moment of walking in the door, being greeted, offered recommendations and the most popular picks, top tier, amazing job guys and thank you so much!! Will definitely be back!

I came in today for a pick up order, my partner picked it up and did not Check that everything was correct, when we got home I realize that they gave me orange chicken instead of mushroom chicken. Super inconvenient, we live 15 minutes away so we had to drive all the way back. When I went inside, A guy who looked like a manager, or an assistant manager, helped me. He did not greet me, he just stared at me and waited. When I said hello, he just said “what can I get for you”. I explained that my order was incorrect, and he started remaking it, not apologizing for the order being wrong, not making eye contact, not a trace of remorse. There was one person ahead of me and one person behind me, it was midday so it’s not like they were in the middle of a lunch rush. After he gave me my order, he just proceeded to help the next person, did not say anything about the order. Super disappointed with this experience, As someone who works in the service industry, customer service is everything and after this experience, I doubt I will be returning to this location.
