I was excited to finally be able to go to a Panda Express again after they closed up shop back in CNY. They offered the same menu I remembered enjoying many years ago – I opted for the new spicy orange chicken with chow mein. I got the bowl which is 1 meat 1 side. My family members each got their own bowls. The rice had no flavor and definitely needed the help of soy sauce. The chow mein was average. The spicy orange chicken was in fact spicy but I thought the portion size was small and Panda Express heavily favored the side portion. While only a small inconvenience, it was annoying that the “bowl” option was put together on a plate. I’m glad I was able to try Panda Express again but there was nothing offered that would make me pick this place (taste and price point) over any other Chinese food establishment.

There was very little food. It was all dried up. No greeting when entering the door! I really didn’t know what to eat after looking at it for a while. It was a clean environment. The toilet was not usable. Only the lo mein and green bean chicken looked good.

Overall, I enjoyed my first time here, I think maybe we just came at the wrong time. I understand the quick aspect of this restaurant, but unless the food had just been put out, it was not hot. The food still tasted good, but there was just so much left to the imagination. I was just a little let down with the price I paid for my food to be all different temperatures. Next time, I will try and plan to visit at a high volume time in hopes that more food will be freshly cooked.
The customer service was good.

The food is okay. But whatever you do, DO NOT order the teriyaki chicken. That had to be the worst thing I have ever had and should be allowed to be served to the public. EVERYTHING ELSE, completely fine. But that chicken haunts me. It’s the equivalent to eating a bag of windex.

Asked for a 2 plate entree I asked if there were fresh mix greens only to be told no by Naomi H she didn’t end ask your chef . I was wrung up as a 2 plate NOT A BOWL. I had to tell her I didn’t receive 2 entrees as the mixed greens were not looking good.
And needs to know to ask your chef or mgr when she doesn’t know. I find this disappointing.

Many good tasting Chinese food dishes and sides. It’s a clean place with a nice staff.
This is a convenient location near other shopping that a person might need to do. They have a drive thru. There are tables outside set up in front of the restaurant to the left of the door.

We were in South Carolina for the 4th of July weekend and tried this Panda Express — you can never go wrong. The place did not disappoint, and the customer service was friendly and welcoming.

I love this place, the food is always great, plus you get the trays at a really good price. The children’s trays on REALLY good deal. The only think I don’t like about this place is there cheese Rangoon’s there pretty pricey at 3 for $1.95 any other Chinese Restaurant they usually have them like 8-10 for $3 and every time I have gotten them from this place they have always been burnt. It’s just not worth the money. But, the trays are worth the money. Absolutely!

FOOLING THE PEOPLE: WHAT HAPPENED PANDA? May 10, 2022. I ordered a bigger plate with greens, grilled chicken, etc. The plate given to me looked inedible. There were no greens and the grilled chicken was completely pitch black char! What? I did not leave the drive-thru. I asked for the manager. My phone will not let me write his name which is similar to Robert.

Previous managers Tim and then Eric are no longer there.

At first the cashier lied and said she was the manager. Then, the manager apologized and gave me a more normal looking plate. I drove off.

When I went to eat it, I noticed something was weird with the greens. I saw yellow, then I saw this bitter tasting broccoli rabe. I was shocked!

I called customer service. I was not going to drive 20 minutes for an argument. Customer service put me on hold. I told her I called to check with North Charleston store in SC. They said Greens are Cabbage, Broccoli, and Kale.

Wow!!! I knew that! Broccoli Rabe is not on the menu. Customer Service asked ,”How would you know what broccoli rabe is?” Wow. Then she said the store said I kept the first meal, and was looking for a free meal.

I was miffed. I did not even eat or touch the first meal! I had not left the drive-thru. I gave it to Robert, the manager. I could not believe they would lie. I know what broccoli rabe is because it has a very bitter taste to it. It does not taste like broccoli.

I told her that how dare they lie! I told her I will text you right now the picture of what they put instead of broccoli!

No Panda, you are CONNING the customers. And my sides were not fresh. The peanuts were so black I thought they were beans. The string beans wilted, and chicken hard. I know you all are SLOW at lunch before 5 PM, but PANDA JUST DOES NOT CARE .

CUTTING CORNERS, PANDA? But lying, that is low. I told customer service that I have been going there since it first opened, and Alicia was the manager. And go ask how I paid, with a $100 bill. So, know, you guys are ripping me off, by putting in something that is NOT EVEN ON THE MENU!

I took pictures, and if there is a way to post them, I will. I know they are not busy until after 5 PM, but I should not get penalized with old food, and disgusting substitutions, so they can cut costs.
