Most every time I go to this location it’s not a bad experience, typical Panda Express. Today we were served by “Ning” her portions are abysmal, and she really seemed to enjoy filling up the scoops with primarily veggies. I can appreciate a balanced scoop but shorting me on the very expensive protein that I actually went there to eat is not cool! I don’t know that I will be returning after this experience. My total was around $36 for this and a Bigger plate that looks very similar, along with a medium entree on the side. Very displeased, this is not the first time “Ning” has given shoddy portions, but it very well may be the last. Stop being Stingy!

For non-Asian, American/Asian cooking, their food is always tasty, usually served hot (at least at a holding temp), and one of the best values. For $13 the portion was huge, we shared it and left with a solid 5-6 oz leftover to take home. Beijing beef with lo-mein, fairly crispy beef, lots of veg, and not drowning in sauce. Above average egg rolls to boot. Best fast food value out there. Staff and store, at this location, were superb.

I am truly disappointed and disgusted with my recent visit. While the food itself tastes good, the overall value and service were terrible.
The main issue is the portion sizes. I ordered a plate, and the servings were drastically smaller than what l’ve received in the past. It felt like the management had issued a letter to severely ration the food. Paying nearly $20 for a small plate with minimal portions is simply not worth the price anymore.
This represents a significant decline in value.
Furthermore, the service was lacking. As other reviewers have noted, the staff seemed completely detached. There was a noticeable lack of eye contact and engagement, giving the impression that there was “no joy” in their work.
Until the portion sizes are restored to a reasonable level that justifies the price, I cannot recommend this location. I am truly disappointed.

The food and service were good. The manager was actually cleaning the customer area and wiping the tables down while we ordered. I like the orange chicken, My wide gets the honey walnut shrimp we both got fried rice and lo mein. The service staff was friendly and helpful, this was the first time at this store. I will go back it was a pleasurable experience.

I visited this restaurant and placed order for chowmein, Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, Honey sesame chicken, egg roll & Cheese Rangoons after placing entree order I moved to cashier to pay and when I got home there is no orange chicken and I call the restaurant to explain this situation and manager on duty totally unprofessional no empathy towards customers and tells me I need to look at my order and not accepting the mistake. I will recommend everyone please look at your order before leaving the restaurant.

We utilized the Panda Express App to order food. After an hour and half we were still waiting. We called the store and spoke to the manager who had the audacity to tell us we shouldn’t be upset with him, and that we should be upset at the third party delivery person. He suggested we call the third party (which, to be clear, there is no name/company/information identifying who the third party is).
The manager was completely unhelpful. Again, we ordered through the Panda Express App, not a third party app (like Grubhub, DoorDash, or UberEats). I have no idea who Panda Express in Gainesville Virginia (13906 Promenade Commons St.) uses as a third party – but the manager felt it was my responsibility to somehow track that company down and identify the driver to complain.
We cancelled the transaction via credit card.
Please do not use the App associated with this particular location. It’s a crapshoot as to whether you’ll even get your food, and if you don’t, do not expect the store to make you whole.
