Excellent food tonight and great service team, thanks . Being a Gothamite with easy access to authentic Chinese food, I do not try this shop. However, after a long drive today, the distinct aroma of sweet and sour “SS” sauce overcame my resistance and peaked my appetite. Tried the noodle plus SS chicken and walnut shrimp. All very tasty and impressed the noodles are real egg noodles that’s nicely cooked al dente while not stuck together. Very happy and thanks again for a nice quick mobile meal. Worth the visit

Never gotten and undersized portion here as some seem to claim. Im here between 2 and 5 and this service Plaza Panda has the best, freshest, most properly prepared food of any Panda Ive ever been to and there are dozens Ive gone through back in California. It is perfect every time ive been here. If you want the best Panda you’ve ever had – believe it or not (I wouldn’t if somebody told me this) its this service plaza location.

I had an outstanding experience at the Panda Express located in the Applegreen service plaza in Sloatsburg, NY, thanks entirely to an employee named Ralph.
While I was still deciding where to eat, Ralph proactively approached the counter, made eye contact, and asked if he could help. His assertiveness wasn’t pushy; it was genuinely helpful and immediately drew me in. He was transparent, letting me know they were preparing to close and had limited options, which I appreciated.
His excellent customer service literally made the decision for me. He was engaging, friendly, and made the whole process seamless with his pleasant small talk. As I enjoyed my dinner, I couldn’t help but think that with his professionalism and initiative, Ralph has a very bright future ahead of him.
Panda Express, you have a true asset in Ralph. He is a fantastic team member who perfectly represents your brand. Thank you, Ralph, for turning a simple meal into a great customer experience!

Food is good like other Panda Expresses, but multiple times I came, half of the food wasn’t available because they were closing in an hour. Not sure why the owner doesn’t extend hours to a later time like the other side of 87. Many in the after hours end up going to Shake Shack instead because Panda Express is closed.

I was very impressed with the patience, communication and problem solving I witnessed while getting lunch for my 7 year old son at Panda Express today. When it was our turn there wasn’t much left of the chow mein and Carlos said “this is mostly veggies, if you want to wait more noodles will be out in 5 minutes” he let us stand back and only a minute or two passed before fresh noodles came out and he remembered us and helped us with our order. While waiting we noticed Carlos help handle a snafu with an order in a way that made all parties walk away with a smile, be aware of how many people were in a party and give the appropriate amount of utensils and or cookies and never lose his calm or forget to call out if an item was running low and needed to be replenished.
My son LOVES his food and I really LOVED a fast food experience with staff that was kind, present and thoughtful.

The food is ceap, the chow mein is almost like cardboard, the teriyaki chicken is not teriyaki and is gummy. The only good thing is the packets of teriyaki sauce and the fortune cookies. The people behind the counter barely speak English and you have to repeat yourself several times so they might understand. Overall Panda Express has severely gone downhill and I will NEVER EVER eat there again. Plus the prices are too high for the quantity they don’t give.

How is this place still a thing? And how did our NYS thruway sign a contract with them? The food was garbage. The service was garbage. Shake shack had a million people waiting for food because that’s the only good place to eat there and it’s small. Our NYS thruway authority has failed the public. What happened to McDonald’s and Burger King just pumping food out on the weekend… and don’t get me started on Chick-fil-A. I love the place but not for the thruway when they’re not open on Sunday. MOST PEOPLE TRAVEL ON THE WEEKENDS….

Lol I don’t have proof that they were talking about me in their language. I don’t like give minimum wage food server’s a hard time. Anyways, thanks for the service.
