Took my boyfriend here for his birthday…again! We absolutely love this place. Great menu, you can try something new and delicious each time you come, like we did. This time we tried the Caribbean famous house tacos and they were delicious! Large portions, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Bonus if you love hot sauces because they have numerous options on your table.

Cute little place to walk into. However, don’t make our mistake. You are supposed to wait to be seated. The food was very flavorful, but be clear on what you want when you order. The sweet tea is good enough. The salsa is good with mild and a medium option with fresh crisp salty chips!

I used to frequent here while I was in college and I loved it. Being back in the area, I decided to come with my husband and unfortunately were disappointed with the service. While it didn’t take long to get a table, we waited almost 30 minutes before the waitress came to take our order. 30 minutes we waited and we were not even asked for our drink order or offered water at the very least. 30 minutes and three other tables (some parties even larger than ours) who arrived after us were being served and were leaving before the waitress reached us.
As far as the food, it doesn’t match the same nostalgic and authentic Mexican flavor I remember.

This place is a MUST GO. It was crowded, which we thought was a good sign. The food was delicious. All four of us were happy. Nice authentic Mexican interior. The outside could use a little makeover, we thought it was closed. It it’s open and worth going.

BY FAR our family’s #1 favorite Mexican Food joint in the Tampa Bay / surrounding area! Great food, great service and a nice change of atmosphere compared to most restaurants around.
