Hidden Gem! Visited my hairstylist late in the day and asked if there were any good Taco places around. She recommended Pancho’s and boy, it did not disappoint!! Unassuming with tables and chairs. But the service was fabulous. They quickly brought out chips and salsa and waters. Checked on us frequently. We ordered and the food came out fast and hot. We got a variety. Birria tacos, the asada plate, an Asada quesadilla, the 3 taco plate. It was all good, we ate all our plates clean. We don’t live nearby but as we got in the car my teens were already trying to figure out the next time we might be up this way. So good!! Definitely coming back. ❤️

I can’t say this place is great, but it’s also not bad. The food we ordered was carne asada plate; the meat needed more flavor, although it had an excessive amount of black pepper. 2nd plate was caldo deBirria, which is Birria meat stew (in its broth) with 3 fresh made tortillas. The broth was warm and yummy. We also ordered a mulita de asada, and nothing about it stood out. We also ordered 2 aguas frescas that were good but never got a refill. The place is tiny and good for a quick bite. Most people came in and out. The service was friendly but lacking as we never got service after having our meal served. No water or refills. The place has a lot of foot traffic and could use a little more cleaning. I really did like the salsas as they had a good kick to them.

Birra tacos and Birra a la cart – both soo good!!! We had it to-go and made our own nachos at home that were amazing with their Birra!! Definitely recommend and I will definitely be back!!

Update: Another amazing visit to Poncho’s! The beautiful chica up front is always so welcoming and friendly and the owner was so genuine and kind. We ordered Birra & beans a la cart to make quesadillas at home and they again turned out amazing!
Gotta love the consistency in their delicious food and quality service! ⭐️

My husband randomly chose this place and it is incredibly good. Doesn’t look like anything from the outside but the food is amazing. The staff was friendly, brought the food out quickly and everything we ordered was a 10. We got a birria plate and chimichanga to share plus a churro. So so good. I couldn’t take pictures quick enough. Can’t wait to come back.

5 Stars, Great Birria, had the combo #2 2 birria tacos, 1 quesadilla, with console, it was all so delicious. I would say it gives Reds Taco a run for the title.
