Yummy food. Good service and definitely a throwback as far as the atmosphere goes. Average buffet pricing if you include a soft drink. My visit was on a weekday at 4pm. I got full very fast and the tacos are addicting.

Panchos Mexican buffet has been a very popular place to eat basic Tex Mex……RAISE THE FLAG…..cheese enchiladas, Mexican rice, refried beans, crispy beef tacos and of course Sopapillas with butter and honey with soft serve ice cream promises to fill you up bigtime….it’s a shame these locations mostly closed down
I’ve eaten at Arlington Green Oaks
I 20 location many times and it’s always busy and very good portions and service……enjoy….

Feeling nostalgic, I went here for lunch. The interior has not changed at all in over 25 years…The food is definitely not the same. The place wasnt the cleanest, but the service was fast and friendly. Unfortunately most of what I had was inedible. All things considered, Ill always have a soft spot for Panchos Mexican Buffet.

This Pancho’s was fantastic, taking me back to my years growing up in El Paso! The food was simple and tasty, the atmosphere comfy, the restaurant was clean, and the service was cheerful. I will be back, for sure.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen! This used to be the go-to Mexican food spot, but since closing so many locations, they have fallen below the bar. The food is bland, the service is blah, and the environment is bleak. Not to mention the $42 price tag for a sub-par buffet.

Pancho’s Mexican Buffet has such a great atmosphere! From the moment you walk in, it feels welcoming and lively. The food was absolutely delicious, and there were so many options to choose from. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I truly enjoyed my experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re craving good Mexican food!

Pancho’s will always been one of my favorite places. Too bad the price has went up a lot over the years.

Old school Spot with Mexican decor and style. It’s been around forever and still serves up a full meal deal. Lots of choices when you go through the cafeteria style line, and you can always get more. Staff was very friendly and checked on us frequently. Quick through the line, good if you are on a tight schedule.
Lots of seating choices for large groups or small.
The food is a mix of authentic and tex mex flavors. Most of it is mild. You can spice it up from the items at the salad bar with some nice salsas there with lots of flavor.
I like the enchiladas, taquitos, and the chicken tacos. Save room for the best part… sopapillas!! They are fabulous!

I came for nostalgic reasons; we haven’t had a Panchos in San Antonio in YEARS. The food was mid, the service was great and the nostalgia was perfect.
