Unfortunately going to start this review with saying we won’t be back. Husband and I came to grab a quick bite before our movie. First thing you see is the menu on the wall with all the prices covered. Spoiler alert, it’s much much more than what they show online. Husband ordered a burrito combo and I ordered a milanesa torta. My torta was super flat. Bland and dry. Thought, well the salsa can save this. Unfortunately the salsa was bland. Both red and green. Husband’s burrito was bland as well but unfortunately had a hair tucked under the burrito. YUCK.

Went to let them know, no emotion, asked for the money for the burrito because my husband lost his appetite. Thankfully they did refund the money and did get a sorry. That’s fine. I packed up the half of the torta I didn’t eat and we left. For a burrito combo and torta with drink ( not the combo ) our total was $40. Seems pretty expensive for food that was bland. Decor inside is colorful and fun. We won’t be back

My favorite burrito is from Pancho’s Burritos in Hoffman Estates. This authentic Mexican kitchen serves up sabor[flavor] in a family-friendly way. The dining area is sparce, colorful chairs, and handmade tiles and tables. See bright celestial carving artwork on the walls. It’s clean, and the hospitable staff love serving good food to good people.

A hot lunch spot with neighborhood crews, the nearby school and shopping district, Pancho’s is ready to take your order. Try the platillo’s con pollo, tacos, gordita carne asada, and the nopales and huevos sopes.

Special Chimichanga $12.99

My Tacos were Extremely Dry and Very Bland. I ordered the 3 Taco Combo with 3 different kinds meats so I could taste a variety of: Chicken, Ground Beef, and Steak. I had to use a LOT of Salsa so I could finish my food. The Chicken Flautas were tasty though. I have ordered from this restaurant many times Pre Cov1d, and wanted to patronize them again, but something went wrong in the kitchen when I ordered.

Ordered for pickup for dinner thinking our order wasn’t too excessive (3 dinner plates and 3 drinks) and my total came to $75. Food was…just okay. Disappointed big time as we should’ve decided on better quality food for that price… yikes. Used to pick up from here all the time and was suddenly surprised by a big jump in price. Probably won’t be going back…

See pictures… at 6:50 p.m. They served black avocados, and less then 2-3oz of crunchy rice that hurt my teeth, and an empty burrito. Meaning, they packed the tortilla while rolling it to make it look bigger to not put meat in it. I tried to be friendly to buy more rice and he wouldn’t sell it to me. I tried to show the guy what’s wrong with the avocado after and then he didn’t speak English anymore after he took the $ 41.00 of money from me. I think hese guys flat out racist. Don’t come here unless you speak Spanish. Otherwise they will treat you bad.

I ordered the fajitas for $17.99 dinner plate. This was about 1:40 pm on a Sunday. Food was terrible. I’m Hispanic and although not Mexican been married to a Mexican, been in Mexico many times and been in plenty of Mexican places to be able to compare. The fajitas here were awful made with chopped beef. They added to the chopped beef the onions, green peppers, and chopped tomatoes to make it look like fajitas but it wasn’t even close. Also food was very greasy. The place is small yet you have two TV’s on very loud playing different contents which is a headache on it’s own. There was no service really you ordered and then they just put the plates on the counter. The only good part of my experience was the rice but they served very little. My friend had a burrito and he seems to find it ok. Do not recommend this place.

Subpar! Absolutely nothing to write home about. In fact, I’d be embarrassed to write home about this place.
The steak torta is not what you want here. Meat was sparse and salty ( i can’t say for sure, but it might have been boiled first), no beans, unmelted white cheese, and bread with no butter.
Everyone knows that the bread is always buttered up before it’s laid on the grill. I’ve said this before, a place that doesn’t sell homemade Horchata leaves a lot to be desired… my friends, the Horchata here is from a package.
Let me sum this up because it wasn’t worth the time….. I’m giving two stars because the tables were nice. They were nicer than the food was good.

Tried Vegetarian Burrito and a Veggie Taco.

Very authentic. Reminded me of Mexican food I used to have in Los Angeles.

Corn tortilla taco was Ultimate !! It has plenty of Avocado as well.

No Free chips and Salsa though. Have to buy separately. Cutting one star because of this. Otherwise food is very good.

We received excellent friendly and fast service. The food was good. I ordered a 3 taco plate, one chicharrón and 2 asada tacos. The flavors were there. Beans and rice were both good. My daughter said the carne asada burrito was also delicious. Someone went a bit crazy on the salt on chips, so my advice is less is more. I can always add more. The restaurant was clean. I am almost 1 1/2 hours away and will consider driving back to eat at Panchos.

I don’t knownhow people eat food from here. I literally feel like they just gathered left over from trash can and served it to me. Maybe it was because I was there 20 min before closing but that cannot be used as an excuse. They most likely used cold left over and burnt oil to cook my dish. AVOID.
