I have to say, the food at Pacho Villas in Sterling Heights is incredible—full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is great too, with a nice vibe and even a cool fish tank that adds to the charm. My only gripe is the margaritas. They’re a bit pricey for the portion you get. While they taste fine, I’m just used to other places offering jumbo margaritas at the same price. Still, overall, it’s a solid spot and definitely worth checking out.

By far, my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is great and authentic. Fresh house made chips and salsa ( not from a bag or jar). The tacos ( fried corn or fried flour) and enchiladas are fantastic. The flaming fajitas is a cool experience. The portions are huge and prices are also very fair, as compared to other restaurants in the area. Service is great and you never have to ask for refills. The owner, as well as the manager are very friendly, and always making the rounds and talking with the customers, as well as supporting the staff. The live singing is a nice touch also. For your birthday you have to try the sopapillas. For takeout, they are great, as their containers keep the food fresh, even for a 15-20 min ride home. If you are in the area, try this place, you will love it.

Service provided by Nick was excellent and even the other staff members checked on us. Overall good atmosphere. We were seated quickly and our meal was hot and fresh. Chips and salsa upon seating. I loved everything we got which was chili con queso, guacamole, steak and chicken fajitas, etc. definitely would recommend and come back again. Everybody was so nice.

The salsa didn’t taste homemade. When I asked for a spicy salsa, it tasted as if they just added hot sauce. I didn’t get that authentic Mexican flavor from anything. The best part of the restaurant was the service and the decor.

Update – restaurant is open from 2-8 daily. Had a great meal last night, as usual.
The dining room is open on Fri, Sat and Sun now. It was as delicious as I remembered it. You have to go up to the counter and order your dinner and they bring it to the table – but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable. The food was piping hot, chips and salsa are complimentary, and the service was very good.

I have loved this Mexican restaurant forever . I don’t live as close to it as I use to. But I still go a couple times a year and it’s always just as good , if not better! Highly recommend. My favorite is the Mexican pizza , botona, &hungry burro.

I ate today at Pancho Villa’s and I definitely rate it a 10 out of 10. I had the fajita trio and it was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to bring my entire family back.

We ate here when we were in the area visiting and in the mood for authenthic Mexican food. We ordered the Flautas and Steak Burritos. The service was fine, but the food was absolutely awful, not worth it even for free. The shredded beef in the flautas had a very bad very ‘off’ taste like the meat had almost gone bad and then been frozen to keep it going. The ‘steak’ in the burritos was tiny little chunks of very dry, flavorless beef that looked like dog food. The refried beans looked and tasted like somethng out of a can, with no onions no garlic no flavor at all. Also the complimentary ‘salsa’ they served us with nachos looked and tasted like plum tomatoes in the can. If I could give the food ZERO stars I would. Avoid avoid avoid, there are way better mexican places!
