Pancho Villa’s is a must-visit if you’re craving bold, classic Mexican flavors. The fajitas are the real standout served sizzling hot with tender, perfectly seasoned meat and colorful peppers and onions that are cooked just right. Everything tastes fresh, from the warm tortillas to the flavorful sides, and the portions are generous without feeling overdone.
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends or family. Service is friendly and attentive, and the food comes out fast without sacrificing quality. If you’re looking for satisfying, well-seasoned fajitas and a fun dining experience,

We stopped for a small lunch and the food was very good! I got the beef flautas and the meat was very tender and the tortillas were perfectly crispy. My partner got a chicken quesadilla and said it was a little greasy but not too bad, very flavorful!
Service was good, it was a little empty but we went on a Sunday at the start of lunch so I suppose that’s to be expected. We’ll be back for sure.

Best Cadillac Marg, Best Bartender! Best Owner! Oscar has been slinging the best drinks since I started coming to Ponchos over 10 years ago! Great chips and salsa! The best Avocado dressing! One of my favorite places! Always excited and happy to visit with Oscar and eat an amazing meal! Cheers!

Horrible experience, first my menu was dirty with salsa inside. We order the fiesta platter and let me just say it wasn’t great. Chicken wings were small and over cooked the flautas tasted like it was just sitting for a period time, cheese quesadilla was meant for a child and the nachos rancheros looked like it was just thrown with cheese and it was very soggy. Server never came around after we got our food till we called the server just to get a check. Overall i wouldn’t come back.

I stopped here for dinner the other night and unfortunately, left disappointed. The food wasn’t the greatest; the shrimp in the shrimp stuffed jalapeños were overcooked, beef in the chimichanga was dry, and the rice seemed like it was the microwavable kind. But, I did enjoy the salsa and refried beans. The salsa had a nice, spicy kick to it, but it wasn’t overwhelming. I enjoyed my shirley temple as well and would’ve loved to get a refill if they were offered.
Other than that, the atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice and the staff were very friendly. They made sure to consistently check up on us to see if we needed anything.
The consistency of the food just seems to be hit or miss.

TL,DR : if I could give this place a zero, I would. It’s not bad it’s horrible.
First and foremost let me say I’m usually not a fan to leave a bad review, but Pancho Villas of Tannersville stands alone. Best thing about this place is the sour cream and parking.
Other than that, the food and overall experience left me dazed and disgusted with a stomach ache and empty pockets.
The carne asada had a rank flavor, bad burrito, and at the bottom of it all bad service with horrible pricing.
Do Not Order Anything with Shrimp here.
We were charged 27.95 for 5 pieces of shrimp in a “garlic sauce”, uncleaned and unappetizing. I warn anyone to steer clear of the rude staff and arrogant owner.
Do yourself a favor and hit the grocery store before spending your hard earned money on Pancho Villa’s.

I was so glad I decided to eat here after a long day. The food was fresh and tasted really good. I tried flautas for the first time and enjoyed it. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My friends also liked their carne asada, burrito and enchiladas. But WAIT, just when I think the food couldn’t be better, we end up ordering desert. You need to get their flan and chimi cheesecake. It is quite honestly the best flan I’ve had. Margaritas were also good and I would recommend trying the house margaritas.
It was busy when we went so service was a bit slow but I didn’t mind since the food kept me busy. Overall would recommend and I would go back for sure

As I’ve said before, I’m pretty picky about Mexican food being a native Texan. The chips and salsa here were nice. I got the cheese enchiladas suizas. Generous portions and everything was delicious. Parked in the back, was quite busy. Did have an issue with the bill (was about $50 less than it should have been, not our order at all) that took a while to resolve. About $80 for 4 people with drinks. Cute interior, a little cramped when busy. Would definitely eat here again.

Went on a Sunday evening with my 16 year old son (it was my birthday). We were greeted immediately and seated. Fairly full. The decor was festive in the way many Mexican places are.
Ordered Jalapeno poppers for appetizers. They were great. The creamy dipping sauce accented them well.
Entrees were Enchiladas Rojas and Beef Fajitas.
Both arrived just as we finished the appetizer and looked amazing.
Both were exceptional. Although the yellow rice was a bit under cooked. The beef in the fajitas was soooo tender and perfectly seasoned.
Our servers were attentive, but not overly so.
All in all, a tasty, well done meal for my birthday.
Highly recommend trying this place. I will definitely be going back!
