This is a solid place, the carne asada burrito had just carne asada, pico, and guac, which I liked. The meat was good, could have used a little more flavor, but the portions were very generous and it was better than a lot of meat I’ve tried other places. Staff were nice and the bathroom was clean. Guac was ok, we added a little lime and salt and it was better, the chips were very good, crispy and fresh and nicely salted. The carne asada taco was the same meat as the burrito and were quite large, not a small street taco style taco. I would visit again passing through.

Pretty solid Mexican food. Nice to have a bit different flavor than the same old Humberto’s and rilibertos on every corner. Good reasonable prices and pretty standard portions. Clean restaurant and quick service. Salsas are fresh and spicy, pickled vegetables are spicier than I am used to but still quite good. I will be back here again to eat in the future.

Disappointing and Bland, Keep Driving.
As a California native who grew up with authentic, family-run Mexican restaurants, I can say with certainty that this is not the place to go if you’re looking for real Mexican food. While the restaurant itself was clean and the staff was friendly, the food was a major letdown. The presentation was nice and looked appetizing, but that’s where the positives ended.
I ordered the carne asada tacos, and the meat was completely flavorless. It tasted like it had been boiled, with no seasoning, salt, or char whatsoever. It was like chewing on hot, rubbery nothing. To make matters worse, the tacos came with guacamole, which was not mentioned on the picture menu and I happen to be allergic to. I’ve never had a truly authentic taco served with guacamole. I had to pick it out, and even the guac itself was thin, watery, and bland.
The sides were just as disappointing. The refried beans had a slightly funky, bland flavor, and the “Spanish” rice was a pale orange, which should have been my first warning sign. It lacked any flavor profile and was a far cry from the rich, dark orange rice I’m used to. Everything on my plate was just bland, bland, bland.
My husband’s chicken chimichanga was no better. The chicken was boring and flavorless, served with the same uninspired beans and rice. They did provide three salsas, but they were a mixed bag. The red and green salsas were both severely lacking in flavor, while the dark red one was so hot that it completely overwhelmed any potential taste. It was just heat for the sake of heat.
If you’re looking for an authentic and flavorful Mexican meal, do yourself a favor and keep driving.

Grabbed a quick meal and loved it! My chile relleno and beef taco were delicious, and my husband’s carne asada chimichanga was packed with flavor. The counter-service setup is convenient for dining in or taking to go. Portions were generous, the food tasted fresh, and the prices were reasonable. Friendly service made it even better. Definitely worth a visit!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The manager was not only professional and attentive, but also incredibly friendly and welcoming he truly made us feel at home. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and his recommendations were spot on. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in what he does. Highly recommended

First time eating here. Loved my beef torta with fries. My husband had a carne asada burrito. I will definitely eat there again. Price is right for the amount of food you get. Very clean. Positive and outgoing staff. Cesar greeted everyone coming in with a big smile on his face. Loved it. Highly recommend it.

Great place to eat. Ceaser is great order taker, and great entertainment. Sometimes you will get lunch and a little concert as he sings with the radio. The meat is seasoned great. Good size portions also. Second time here and will be coming back many more times. Best taco shop around, yes better than filibertos hands down.

Excellent! We were passing through town and wanted good Mexican food, looked at local reviews and found this place. Didn’t disappoint. Variety of salsa options. Very satisfied with our meal. Lots of foot traffic (popular local spot). Wish we had this place back home!!

Amazing little precocious Taco Shop. My wife found this hidden gem by doing some online research. The reviews foreshadowed what was about to come. Great flavor and satisfaction fullness. We both had the Super Burrito, which was pricy, but worth it. It was enough for 2 people. We had leftovers for later in the evening. The asada was flavorful and the tortilla was perfect. It was not salty like some places I’ve eaten out.
The young lady that assisted me was friendly and courteous. We found we had a connection to Cherry Point, NC. Such as small world at a taco shop in Kingman, AZ.
Highly recommend this place for anyone traveling through. It’s an easy off and on to I40.
Thank you for fueling us for our trip.

I would have given this place a 5/5 hands down based on the food, however, my customer service experience was so terrible I’ll honestly never go back solely on pride. The girl at the front desk was ABSOLUTELY horrendous and rude. Typically I tip really well, but tonight the best dollars I saved were the dollars I didn’t tip her. She shook her head at my mom because my mom was checking our food to ensure we got everything we paid for (wasn’t aware this was an issue), and refused to greet us, or say goodbye. Oh, but everyone else got greeted and treated well. Hmmm… I wonder why. Ugh. If you go, go for the food not the personality or service.
