My only complaint is that you don’t get free chips and salsa. Other than that the food was delicious. The queso was phenomenal!

Authentic ambiance and feel. The service was great and attentive. The menu was extensive and I really liked the Villa enchiladas. For our appetizers we enjoyed the fresco guacamole and tamal. The food needed a little salt but that was an easy fix. My only complaint were the quality of the happy hour margaritas. They tasted like limeade and I tasted no alcohol in them. Overall a good restaurant and I would definitely come back.

No free chips and salsa. When we ordered it, it still never came. Food came quickly, almost to quickly. The sauce was soupy. My husbands food was luke warm at best. Feels like we ate leftovers and not fresh food. Our server never checked on us once and we had to go to the front to ask to pay our bill. Will not be returning!

Delish! 2 for 1 margaritas and beer. Super tasty and mega filled soft taco, quesadilla crispy and melted! Price, quality and quantity. Atmosphere is authentic although it may appear outdated comparatively.

Our group of four all commented that this was some of the best Mexican food we have eaten. Stopped in on our way through Minnesota and glad we did. They had some construction outside which probably affected their crowd as we were one of only a few occupied tables. The service was fast and friendly.

Food was only okay. Our one dinner was a Nacho meal, and the chips were limp and so soggy. I was disappointed that we had to pay extra for chips and salsa even tho we ordered 3 dinners! The service was awful. She brought our food and we never saw her again. We had to call her over to refill our drinks, and again to refill our chips/salsa. It was moderately busy, but only one waitress. Everyone around us was looking for her for something. We will not return. We highly recommend Rancho Grande in Buffalo. Fresh, hot delicious food.

First time eating at Pancho Villa and the food was excellent! It’s hard to find really good Mexican restaurants in Minnesota but this place nailed it! From the cheese dip to the chimichangas, our meal was delicious! I don’t eat meat so I requested my chimichanga be made with only beans and rice and my waiter happily obliged, to my delight! We will definitely be back to try other menu items and margaritas!

Margaritas were not good. Tasted like pure syrup. Also had poor service, dropped off food and didn’t come back at all. Food was good, prices are ok. But there’s also no free chips and guac. So many other Mexican restaurants around with better service and Margaritas!

This is the worst mexican restaurant I’ve been to. I order a shirmp cocktail, it have no flavor at all, shirmp were soo small, barely any avocado on it, the crackers were old.

We moved to the St. Cloud area in recent months. We tried almost all of the Mexican restaurants closer to home, but nothing really compared to the food we left on the west coast… Until we ate at Poncho Villa last Saturday! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and I know we’ll be making the drive to Monticello to eat there often. Great for families, but also looked like it had a fun and lively bar area. Definitely recommend!
