The staff was super friendly. I had a great experience in the restaurant.
The burrito like melted like liquid as was completely inedible. I did not like how it tasted. It was like it literally just kind of fell apart and had no texture whatsoever. I tried to eat it with a spoon after it literally melted into a liquid and then just threw out half of it cause I didn’t like it at all.
It was weird because I’ve genuinely had a great experience in the past. The last burrito I got there was really good so I don’t know what happened, but it was just flavorless and basically a liquid.
First scale, I picked up the burrito as soon as it was cooked walked across the street and ate it, and it was like completely soggy. I don’t know what happened.

The hand pressed tortillas are to die for.
This is my go to pick me up when I’m feeling down. Staff is friendly. Burritos are well-mixed and reasonably priced. And the tortillas are SO good I often order an extra tortilla just cause i can’t get enough of them

Pancheros is in its own lane among fast Mexican grill restaurants. The food is fresh (including the tortillas) and delicious. I appreciate that the ingredients are mixed before the burritos are wrapped. The burritos tend to hold up well too.

Pancheros is like chipotle except they have tortillas that are actually good, portion sizes that are not ludicrously small for the price, and free hot sauce for you to take to your table. I will admit that the now closed west Towne mall one left much to be desired. But this pancheros does not engage in any such tomfoolery. Engage in burrito creation with confidence.

Food is okey. Just like Chipotle. Potion size is small. Cheese is not good. I asked for more lettuce then they put sprinkles. I felt like they are trying to hide food from us. lol it was my first time and I was looking for meat options. I didn’t see how steak looks like. Rice was cold. Meat was cold. I do t know if how it is. Overall I’m not satisfied.

I asked for a steak quesadilla and the girl just threw it on the stove, didn’t ask me if I wanted anything else on it. This is by far one of the best places in Madison to get a burrito. Their food is similar to Chipotle’s, but it’s cheaper, while somehow being of higher quality; they hand-press each tortilla fresh for your item, and the quality of their rice is notably higher. I highly recommend checking this place out! Staff is incredibly friendly, obviously puts care into ever item they make, and the restaurant has been clean every time I’ve come.
It is worth adding to my review that their rice uses Cilantro! I know not everyone likes Cilantro, but I love it!

My favorite thing about this place is that they mix your burrito before wrapping it, but when I ordered online for pickup they did not. Overall still good food, just disappointing that the mixing is only an in person thing apparently. The chips and queso are the best though!

Just tried a bowl for the first time as a qdoba and chipotle lover. A bit disappointed- definitely lacking in flavor and freshness. Think I will stick to what I know!
