The Pancheros on 1st Ave is by far the best one I have ever been in. I was greeted loudly and with exuberance when i walked in. The store was clean and the workers were friendly. These are hard-to-find qualities in food service. The food was great as well! Keep it up!!

The staff was friendly and the food was good. I was just very disappointed with the presentation of this location. I have never seen a Pancheros location so dirty.

Frustrating this location has been going down hill for awhile. Very clear management doesn’t care or have good direction from upper level for guidance. Ordered Pancheros tonight after my past two experiences in the past 6 weeks ended in my food never being delivered due to another location closing early unexpectedly twice. Order door dash tonight.. for starters they can never get your sides added to the bag when your order quesadillas, even when you order in store you have to watch them like a hawk to get your sides, They are always missing. Next our chicken and cheese quesadillas that were ordered came both cheese only. Ok no big deal we’ll eat it anyways. Upon opening the second quesadilla I come to find my order tickets basically been cooked into my quesadilla.
I don’t know what is going on with this company but someone needs to step up and turn things around at all Cedar Rapids locations not just the worse location 1st ave se. A once great franchise with a few locations has now gotten large and out of touch with quality and Customer service. I will be the first to say anytime I’ve had a issue cooperate will usually handle it, but enough is enough of employees that don’t give two hoots.

I’m sure we’ll see the stereotypical reply just like on all the other bad recent reviews telling us sorry for your experience well forward your review on to management … how about you do something instead of just forward stories to management!

My experience at this Pancheros was truly exceptional. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The service was simply amazing, making it a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future.

Not the cleanest, even the preparation area looked like a tornado had been through it. Visited 8pm, so not the dinner rush… Food is ok… Might be better to take it home to a clean table unless you’re table is dirtier than theses.

Nice and cold. Served during prime lunch hours on a Saturday afternoon. Staff acted as though they didn’t care about food quality or their job. Also the restaurant was dirty. Tables needed wiped down so customers had a place to sit and eat. We ate there and they didn’t offer a tray to eat it on.
