I have never had a bad meal here and had to make sure I stopped by before leaving town. Everything is always fresh and flavorful and you cannot beat the value! I’d def recommend coming early on a Sunday or you can do a to go order. The service is always great and Ashley was a pleasure on Sunday! This is great for couples, small groups, and solo dining. The biggest thing to know is they are a cash only establishment.

If you’re in no hurry, fine. Seems to be the crowd here anyway, otherwise expect to wait a long time for your food. The server never came back to the table no refill, had to go to the front register to pay for our meal when we finished waiting for her to just come out to the floor! Two of us both got French toast, with turkey sausage and a side as seen, and a drink. The meal came out to $39 which I feel is overpriced for 4 slices of bread made into French toast. Then, we’re told when handing over a credit card for payment, “this is cash only”. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal. He advised I use the ATM on site, I said I will not. He asked if I could Apple Pay, and I did so only to show proof that this place would not accept a proper form of payment. Not only is this illegal but there are no signs saying cash only, the servers themselves do not say cash only ever, you only find out when you go to whip out your credit card and pointed towards the ATM. Worst part is I took a co worker here for her birthday, both loving breakfast foot and working in the area. Such a disappointment!

This was my second visit to this restaurant. The first time I ordered the fried catfish and eggs in August 2024 and everything was delicious. I must admit I was happy to be in the area again Jan 2025. This time I ordered the pork chops and I am so glad that I did! They offer homemade soup and one side dish or 2 side dishes. I asked about the chicken soup and fried eggplant only to find everything is made in house. The pork chops were deep fried with a perfectly battered crust. The eggplant was thinly sliced and the chicken soup was definitely homemade with a healthy amount of chicken and noodles. Ashley is a great server amd Jennifer was kind as well. Both ladies rooms were occupied and the men’s room was dirty but the food was tasty with generous portions and the staff was helpful. I’ve been eating at higher priced restaurants and wishing for lower prices and larger portions. This place has more of a diner feel. Remember they close at 2:30 p.m. and that everything is CASH. No charge cards accepted. I recommend them and look forward to visiting there soon.

I love family owned restaurants and this place made it to the top of my list when visiting the 757. I found this place on TikTok and no lies were detected. I ordered from the Breakfast Seafood menu croakers w/eggs and home fries. My husband order the pancakes w/side of catfish. Everything tasted great!! We’re thinking about coming back tomorrow before heading but first it’s time for a nap Our server Paige was very nice and accommodating. This was her second day of work. Don’t hesitate to stop by, ask for Paige.

Mom and pop spot. If you are a picky eater go somewhere else. The fish were amazing! My grits and eggs were cold nonetheless I ate them because I was hungry and had a flight to catch. Plenty of parking. The staff were really nice. Next time I’m visiting home I will come back.

Love this breakfast spot. They have been here for yearsss. Good comfort food. Very American traditional breakfast. Good sweet tea and pink lemonade. I had the French toast, sausage links, eggs. Was delicious. Husband had a turkey club on white toast with breakfast potatoes.
Notes: parking is tight. There is extra parking in the back. Also, they only accept CASH. They have an ATM up front if needed though.

Three of us went on a Sunday after church. The restaurant was packed, but we really wanted to try this place. We waited for about 50 minutes for a table. I’m told the wait isn’t as long during the week.
I wasn’t certain, based on other reviews, whether this was a cash only restaurant. They definitely are. No credit cards accepted. They have an ATM on site if you don’t have cash.
The interior of the restaurant could definitely use updating, but don’t let the lack of interior decorating deter you from dining. The food was tasty and the portion sizes were good.

It’s a crying shame! I have been eating at this place for decades , and over the years have seen the service and food go from excellent to piss poor! It seems to me ,like many businesses that have been handed down ,that the new owners are not as dedicated as the previous ones to RESPECTFUL service and good food. The wait for your food is long, and the services from management is in need of the UNCLE that previously owned to maybe give the new nieces and nephews a lesson in integrity and respect! My entire! family has eaten here for years but after today none of us will ever return! To the big fellow in the front you don’t speak to women in that fashion, try not to snap ya fingers and tell them to take a seat! And to the attractive young lady next to him…. That means nothing if your attitude towards people is ugly!
If ya want a great place to eat close to there , go to Irwin’s Diner….great service and great food!
