This place was definitely very warm and welcoming. Food came out at a very decent time. Cost very reasonable for the amount of food that you receive. typical Breakfast place so really wasnt much to give my opinion . Next time we come, we will definitely try a omelette or something different. French toast was very good. I had the Nutella and bananas. My husband had the strawberry and banana pancakes. It’s was good just didn’t like the fried taste from the pancakes, but still ate edible. The grits were a little watery, but edible. Will definitely come back and try something different maybe a omelette.

We were traveling home from Christmas vacation in Punta Gorda, Florida to Whitney Point, New York and wanted a great breakfast after checking out of our hotel. We used Google Maps to locate some great local and non-chain places to eat breakfast. We decided on Pancakes & Waffles which was less than 15 miles away on our travel on Interstate I-95 North. Pancakes & Waffles is a simple, casual, and cozy eatery with great breakfast and beverages. They have a simple menu that has something for everyone. You can have a delicious and fabulous meal coupled with warm, friendly, and attentive customer service. The establishment is definitely a popular place with the locals and it is definitely a refreshing change from the chains! It can get very busy in there and so arrive early and you won’t be disappointed!

Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Claudia G.was our host. She was very friendly, pleasant, professional, and had a genuine smile. It was a Sunday, 12/28/2025 around 11::50 AM and we were immediately seated, provided with menus and our beverage order taken. Claudia G. was also our server and we asked her for her personal recommendations and favorites. She directed us to the crepes and pancakes items. For breakfast, we had the two House Breakfast Specials. My wife ordered
Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Home Fries, Nutella Crepes, and coffee. I ordered
Scrambled Eggs Soft, Bacon, Grits, Pancakes, and coffee. Claudia G. immediately brought out fresh coffee with cream and sugar on the side. Everything was absolutely delicious and both meals were prepared, portioned, cooked to perfection, and were served hot. The Nutella Crepes and pancakes were absolutely delicious as well as the grits, eggs, bacon, and Home Fries. Claudia G. was very attentive, friendly, efficient, and happy to help! In short, the delicious food, and friendly customer service made for a great dinning experience. We have a new spot to visit for breakfast when traveling to and from Florida to visit family or whenever we are working in the Hope Mills, North Carolina area. We will definitely be returning to try some of their other breakfast meals and specials.

The staff were friendly. However for the amount of time we waited for our food, you would think it would have been hot but no it was barely warm. Waffle was decent. Don’t think we’ll be returning.

I ordered the House Special on Uber Eats. I goggled this place before I ordered; It had a 4.7 rating on Google and a 5.0 on Uber Eats (which is basically unheard of, especially in Fayetteville/Hope Mills area).

Needless to say, I’m very disappointed. My food not only arrived cold, but the smoked sausage I ordered (I thought it was a smoked sausage patty) was an actual kielbasa sausage. It was super greasy and cold and just not good. The eggs and home fries look like the ones you get from a hotel breakfast and barely have any flavor. The pancakes, while large and fluffy, taste like they’re either frozen or the mix comes in a prepackaged bag. It reminded me of the pancakes they serve a when I was a kid at school.

The presentation and serving sizes were a plus, but the food-very mediocre and just not good.

Found this charming local spot while visiting family. On a cold, rainy Sunday, their pancakes, bacon, and coffee were absolute perfection. It’s fresh, cozy, and exactly what a breakfast place should be. Highly recommend!

The breakfast has went down. My grits were ice cold and eggs were luke warm, the pancakes had absolutely no flavor. The best thing was the bacon. The service was great so I tipped the lady because she was very nice. Overall a wasted $20

Today is our first time coming here to eat. We were warmly greeted by Jenn. She told us to sit wherever, we would like. The restaurant is very clean and setup nicely.
Jenn brought us our menus and took our drink order. We decided on the sweet tea and a sprite. They have so much to choose from it was a little hard making the decision. We ordered a BLT with onion rings, the Ribeye steak with eggs over easy, home fries with a side of pancakes. A single order of biscuits and gravy to try as well. We ordered the Texas Philly and fries to go.
Our food was brought out hot and freshly made.
The biscuits are soft and fluffy and the gravy is good. The pepper wasn’t overpowering.
Everything was perfectly cooked on my ribeye plate. The BLT is good as well. The prices are reasonable and the food is good.
I want to thank Jenn for being so wonderful and genuine. She’s very kind. She made our first time here the best. I have attached her photo. I would highly recommend coming here. I know that we will be back to try the other food items on the menu.

My only complaint was the grits. A little to soupy. I like mine thicker. But the portions are amazing. Had to take half home. Our waitress was efficient and friendly, the food came out quickly. And the valentines day decor was fun and festive.
