My husband and I stopped in on our way through. Food was great, service was great very clean and very quick. My husband got steak and eggs his steak was an over cooked but they fixed it immediately. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

Just awesome! They have a few spots for limited time truck parking.

Clean, very clean. And prompt. My food was done and served faster than a fast food store.

We stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and were seated immediately. Our breakfast was cooked perfectly and the service was quick and friendly. The meals are very reasonably priced and servings are generous. We were very pleased with our meal and the cozy atmosphere. The value was great with two full meals (and a couple of extras) at $24 before tip.

Great stop on our journey for a hearty breakfast. Clean, fast, friendly service and they even have postcards! We had the eggs, bacon and potatoes. The bacon was thick, crispy and so tasty. The potatoes stole the show though. Freshly peeled, fried, and seasoned just right, just like at grandmas house! We had the pecan pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes and strawberry pancakes and they did not disappoint. What was disappointing was they weren’t serving their house special, the apple pancake that day. I was really looking forward to that. The coffee was also not bad and my cup stayed full.

Always a line at this restaurant but the service is excellent and usually fast. My only complaint about the food is that they water down the pancake syrup. I like a nice thick syrup. Coffee is excellent, they’re always coming around often to keep it topped off.

The Pancake House on Pancake Blvd. in Liberal, Kansas is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Tornado Alley. I’ve been going here for 30 years and not much has changed. Classic, small town America gathering place with good coffee, hotcakes and service. You can hear the latest local news while you wait for your order just by listening to the conversations. (By the way, the parts Melvin ordered for his wheat combine are ready to pick up after noon.) When you finish breakfast head over to Dorothy’s house on Yellow Brick Rd. Pay homage to the movie that ‘should have’ won Best Picture in 1939. Pancakes, Dorothy, friendly folks and big storms. Liberal (LBL). It’s one of my favorite destinations.
